Hello. I'm Penny-Anna, and I'm painfully shy, so I probably won't ever actually message anyone...
I'm British, currently living in a spectacularly dull corner of England, but I'll be moving to Edinburgh shortly. : D I've have it entered as my location even though I'm not there yet, because I don't see much point in meeting people who live near a city I'm moving away from in two weeks.
I'm an agnostic-pantheist-atheist-thing, an amatuer writer, and a socialist. Oh, and I think I look rather younger than I am.

What I’m doing with my life

I'm in my last year of school, studying Classics, English Lit, and Religious Studies. I'm hoping to do Classical Studies at uni next year, if I get the grades.
Other than that, I want to write. I've actually managed to finish a fantasy novel... it's in the editing stages, and will remain there for some time, I suspect.

Writing... I like to think, anyway. Friendly arguments.

That I look rather younger than I am... and that I'm very quiet.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

I like just about anything that's fantasy or science fiction... Terry Pratchett and Douglas Adams (may he rest in peace) are favorites.
My favorite film is Serenity, methinks... and Doctor Horrible's Sing-Along Blog, if that counts.
I have strange and varied music tastes... I have a habit of taking one song of a CD for my mp3 player, and ignoring the rest. The only exceptions I can think of are Queen (which never gets old) and New Order.

The six things I could never do without

chocolate, the internet, books, my friends, sleep, and... *searches for a sixth* oxygen?

I spend a lot of time thinking about

Classics. Writing. The existence of God. Other such astute things. Chocolate.

On a typical Friday night I am

Honestly? At home. I tend to go out on Saturdays, but not every week.
