My self-summary
So I’ve decided to overhaul my profile. The internet is a fancy judging ground and I’ve intentionally left things out in the past to avoid seeming cocky, or bragging, or whatever. But hands down my life is about mixing my work with my play; make some money, have an adventure or two, then repeat. I try to get out as much as possible and never turn down an opportunity. Comfort zones breed laziness, and really what kind of boring or uncomfortable situation really ever hurt anybody?
What I’m doing with my life
I have a degree I hope to one day use, but in the meantime I have a job I enjoy. I like to run, hike, bike, mountaineer, and have recently picked up swimming to branch into triathlons. I rise before the sun, and in turn I don’t stay up very late. What I’m doing with my life is having fun and being happy.
The first things people usually notice about me
For some reason people almost always make some comment about my clothing. Good, bad, weird, normal. It's odd.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I own numerous book shelves. I have every kind of book. Have I read them all? Probably never will.

As far as movie taste goes, I’ll just list some movies I’ve seen more than 5 or so times. Amelie, Snatch, Vanilla Sky, The Royal Tenenbaums, Aliens.

Music, just some: Loch Lomond, Metric, 65 Days of Static, Bloc Party, Interpol, Phantogram, Vampire Weekend, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, The Killers, Walk the Moon, Gorillaz, Martin Solveig.

I have been known to eat food from time to time.
The six things I could never do without
-I have a stuffed turtle on my pack. He's been up mountains and over hundreds of miles of wilderness. He's my mountain mascot.
-Tea, I drink a lot of it.
-My car, it's hard to take the bus out to the boonies.
-Rocks. I have a collection... free souvenirs (I'm a "geologist" so it's healthy).
-Selection. I have a few of a lot of things, I own around seven watches.
-Popcorn. It's pretty common to throw this in as its own meal.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
I spend a lot of time thinking about training and diet. I think about how to eat healthy and how to lean up for race/mountain season, and then I usually eat a pizza or something instead.
On a typical Friday night I am
Options:
Board games with friends
Video games with strangers
At the gym with people I don’t want to talk to
Watching a movie with…
Eating food is in there somewhere regardless of the activity.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I sleep on my floor and take naps in my bed.
I’m looking for
  • Straight girls only
  • Ages 23–34
  • Near me
  • For new friends, long-term dating, short-term dating, activity partners
You should message me if
Pretty much if you’re bored, this site is basically talking with strangers. So do I seem like an interesting stranger? Or a boring stranger? Your choice. I’ve noticed on this site people seem to expect real conversations, but with the itsy bitsy bit of info listed you might as well ask a random question and possibly get an intriguing response.

And message me if you want to talk about mountaineering, triathlons, or marathons. The majority of people messaging on here will never meet, so it seems beneficial to message about topics that people have experience in and an interest.
