I grew up in the Midwest, had a short lay over in California, and finally found myself in Seattle. I've been here for about 6 years, but I haven't explored the city or the surrounding areas nearly enough.

Currently I'm thinking about getting back into teaching, which would require going back to school again(but hey you're never too old to learn, right?). My first degree is in English, so obviously I'm planning on teaching math. *EDIT* I'm currently teaching math, and going to school to finish up my certification.

I'm in a poly relationship. If you have any questions about what that means feel free to ask, especially since it often means different things to different people.

Random interests include: volleyball, cards(most varieties), pool, reading(mostly sci-fi/fantasy), and games in general.

I like trying to figure out what makes people tick, and part of that includes enjoying discussions about psychology, philosophy, religion, and most of the sciences.

Teaching, going to class, doing homework, and jumping through hoops. Also, trying to meet new people and expand my social circle a bit.

One on one conversations(not so much in large groups). Mostly I'm fairly decent at a lot of things, but only amazingly spectacular at a few. :)

Possibly my hair. It's fairly long, though since moving to Seattle it's not as uncommon as it was in other places I have lived.

I'm pretty open when I get to know you, but publically I'm usually fairly private.

You get the urge to. If you feel like hanging out and playing some pool. If you want to talk to someone new. If you're looking for someone to play volleyball with. And of course, because all the cool kids are doing it. :)
