I swear, it was the The Blarney Stone that kissed ME. It's cool. We still keep in touch.

Learning. Travel. Service. Coffee. Drinks. Pens. Notebooks. Maps. Tickets. Packing bags.

As you may have guessed, several details have been omitted.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Trying to make myself a better person and the world a better place. What else?
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Making a delicious, authentic spaghetti alla carbonara.

Editing. I'm consider to carrying around spare copy of Strunk and White.

Coming up with ideas for novels.

Managing the Mets.

Getting lost and finding cool shit.

Pretending to understand loads of languages.

Supporting little shops in SEA that sell beer.

People tell me that I'm a really good cook. Although, I'm beginning to suspect that I'm just being manipulated by folks too lazy too cook for themselves. Shit. I smell something burning...
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Probably that I'm quiet and polite. Hell, I don't know!
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

I read books and magazines.

The Flushing has a lot of good books. I support free and open. Go Pirate Bay. Go Linux distros.

Some favorites: Love in the Time of Cholera. Hesse. Cormac McCarthy. Elegance of the Hedgehog (I have a crush on Muriel Burberry). Shantarum. Death in the Afternoon. The Power of Myth. Mimesies.

Is it possible to think about books more than actually reading books? I wonder if I don't do that sometimes. I juggle books, and I usually manage not to drop one of them. You know, on my foot.

I frequently skim books on language study.
I'd like to read more biographies.

I like Ken Burns, BBC documentaries, other documentaries and the Teaching Company.

Movies are nice. A lot of movies/films disappoint, though. Any suggestions? Last solid recommendation I got was for, All is Lost. Wow. That was a long time ago.

Northern Exposure is the probably best TV show ever.
I don't watch much TV. I do love NFL games. If Cops is on I often allow myself to be pulled into the drama. Shut up.

I like music.
I listen to a lot of indie rock stuff. I know most of the lyrics to 80s hair band songs. I admit to having blasted Bon Jovi in my Camaro back in the day. Damn. I'm kinda thinking I should have saved this for the most private thing to admit question...

I like Thai food, and Chinese food. I like NY deli sandwiches.
I don't like cheese, but I love pizza.

UPDATE: I've come to realize that I may (ok, ok!), I DO have an unhealthy relationship with the Blarney Stone. Thanks OkCupid for guiding me to this understanding (deep breath)- it's time to move on.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
1) my bail bondsman
2) passport
3) dictionaries
4) coffee
5) spices
6) the emergency break

In that order. Exactly. Wait. I might require a little bit of flexibility with the emergency break at number 6.

Honorable mention goes to intuition.

While I got the floor, I'd just like to add that I could definitely do without irony; it can be so cruel.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Karma. Fate. Which road I'll choose next.
Life's twists and turns through the dark wood.

Hmmmmm, and, how to lead a life that is in any meaningful way distinguishable from the life of a cockroach. Not sure if I'm making any real progress here. Now I feel bad. Better quit typing and go do something.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Delighting in random encounters.
Being charmed. Being charming.
And, trying to determine if my level of intoxication is appropriate to the situation.

Obviously, other nights of the week are typically different. For instance, I would never, ever wander on a Tuesday. I strictly avoid random encounters on Wednesdays, and especially on Sundays. I adhere to a "no charm" policy on Thursdays. And, on days other than Friday I am absolutely certain that my intoxication level is appropriate.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I think I saw a ghost. Twice. I'm an atheist. It's confusing.
