My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Humor is vital to me. It is a common denominator in good times and in bad because it puts things into perspective. Besides it is more fun. I hope you can be lighthearted and have a sense of humor also.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I am now at a point in my life where I would like to settle down and have a family. Family life with me will have intimacy(a word with Latin roots that means "shared fear.") As we as a family share trust, we will build emotional bonds, as we share in activities.
Work is great and is only getting better. My family owns a small business that sells hospital supplies and we are getting about 10 new hospitals accounts a year. It is steady work, but it leaves me with most of my mornings and evening free. I use the time by doing volunteer work in the Omaha Community. I currently teach classes at an adult day care center for the mentally ill. The people in this place whom I have enjoyed working with the most have been those with chemical dependency issues, which is why I am attending college classes in order to teach those with co-occuring disorders. Furthermore, I spend a great deal of time with a Christian Singles organization I belong to and its related activities. These are ways I enjoy spending my time.
Another thing that I enjoy is eating a healthy diet and exercising, which mainly consists of tennis and volleyball leagues, swimming, go for walks( in parks and by lakes esp.) with my blue heeler dog "Nick". And I cant forget ballroom dancing lessons.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
According to My Myer Briggs Profile I am: a Counselor type(protector of other peoples feelings). I am good at helping others to realize their human potential. I am reserved I have an unusually strong desire to contribute to the welfare of others, and I genuinely enjoy guiding my companions toward greater personal fulfillment. I am great with metaphors and preoccupied with how people are doing/morale. I have an unusually rich inner life that I would like to share with the right person. I am strongly humanitarian, and I have a keen sense of justice. Also, I have quiet determination, and a tolerant serene non-aggressive outlook. In addition I have, a subtle tackfulness, and have a gracious, sociable, considerate manner. Also, my chief enthusiasms are artistic rather than materialistic, and I have a high respect for order, Moderation, and simplicity. Finally, I avoid the quarrelsome, fanatical and bizarre.
Counselors tend to be good friends with their children, exceptionally loving while firm in discipline. I am concerned about the comfort, physical health, and emotional wellbeing of both mates and children.
I am also an intermediate level tennis play and I can play with both hands. I am a pretty good volleyball player too at 6ft 4inches.
And I am an ok dancer when I am having lessons routinely. I enjoy it anyway. And as far as sinking I dont sink to the bottom of the pool. I registered on the test as a "slow Dancer".

The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
1. God/love/wisdom/insight
2. My family and friends
3. The humility it takes to grow from my weaknesses, and faults
4. The abilities to accept others despite not always accepting their behaviors.
5. The abilities to accept religion despite the inadequacies of many of its leaders, and despite the fact that most wars have been faught in the name of religion.
6. Starbucks: wonderful teas and frappicheenos
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
The present with an ever watchful eye on the future. I heard that someone in Alchoholics Annonymous would say(bye the way I have never had any chemical dependency issue) that if you have one foot in the past and one foot in the future that you are peeing on today. I think theres a lot of truth in that because the present is what really counts. Mark Twain said that the worst tragedies in his life are things that never happened. Once again, the problems with not staying in the present. But, My favorite quote on this subject is from the late singer John Lennon who said "Life is what's happening while you are making other plans." Indeed, the present is itself a Present!!!!
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
I am out doing things with my christian singles organization or I am at home doing invoices or helping my father who is elderly with health problems. Or I am out at Starbucks usually having chai or earl grey tea.(Frappacheenos are for special occasions).
The most private thing I’m willing to admit

That I am a private reserved person, who really enjoy making few but longlasting relationships.

If you believe in G-d and serve others in you walks through lifes many paths. have opinions, but often reserve them in the name of peace, and have found out later that you were glad that you did not say anything. If you have both feet on the ground but still look around for the butterflies, the stars and the moon. If you like to teach others about things(what you have learned in life: philosophies, in school, at work,), and are also wanting to learn each and every day. If you value persistence, respect and are indirectly capable of causing me to want to be a better man. If you can balance a tin can on you nose while singing an evanescence or Pat Benatar song. If you want someone to listen to your jokes no matter how silly they are?
I was talking with a friend of mine about filling out this profile and he said that people will percieve what I have written due to their having a different perception and that I will do the same with the profile of someone else. He recommended a book by Pastor Gary Chapman Called: "The Five Languages of Love."( You can find a survey of the same title if you are interested and take it online to figure out what your love language is? My First "Love Language" that I scored Highest on is "Acts of Service": which means: Your doing things you know I will like you to do. This means expressing your love for me by doing things for me. The next one is QUALITY TIME: which is my getting your undivided attention(radio and tv off) on a long walk, at dinner out, on a drive in the country, etc. These times we will have 2 way communication and talk about anything and everything honestly and openly. The other Love Languages are:Words of affirmation=Expect it. "Reciving Gifts=I give insightful ones. "Physical Touch, yeWell the ball is in your court your response is to shoot the ball or to dribble. The option is yours just dont get anything on your clothes. Grin. Speaking of clothes, I can really appreciate a woman who dresses nicely but conservatively.
