"Are you the new person drawn to me? To begin with, take warning. I am surely far different from what you suppose."
I say that only to clarify that no matter what is written on here, there will still be the chasms between the minute that is said and scale it possesses in reality.
Anyway's, I was born and raised southern. I'm meaning true south; sweet tea, fried okra, cornbread, fear of god, love of Jesus sort of southern. I never developed the accent. Sometimes I miss hearing the twang that is tied to the American south. It is all at once the thing I must leave and the thing I still cling to. It is my identity, to a degree, and was only realized when I left for a fresh start here in Oregon.
Other things of slight significance: I love writing, though I have taken an abbreviated rest from it currently. I love coffee. I'm a true romanticist. A late bloomer. A documentary watcher. Somewhat flippant. I traveled 2,691 miles from everything that I knew to discover what I don't know.
