Hey, everyone! My name is Perri, and I'm a sophomore English Major at CSU Fresno. I tend to be somewhat shy at first, but once I get to know a person, I'm very talkative, lol. I have a ton of interests and I think that really tends to play into my personality and lifestyle. I'm a Christian, and my faith is very important to me, so I would like to find similar qualities in my potential dates. I'm also really flexible in that area, and definitely not judgmental. I'm always willing to respect those around me in every way as long as they give me the same luxury.

I would most like to find someone who at least shares some interests in common with me. There are so many aspects of life that I love and I would really like to be able to share that with someone. I would always like to keep an open mind, giving less attention to physical attraction and more to simply how well I can get along with that person.

I love reading classic literature, sci-fi and fantasy novels. I'm a huge fan of movies. I love everything about them and I often analyze them to death, but all in good fun. I would love to get involved in a creative writing field someday, possibly write a novel or a screenplay.

I love the outdoors. Hiking and horseback riding are two of my favorite things to do. I really love getting out an enjoying the scenery, maybe just going for a nice long walk. I also really enjoy traveling. This plays into my interest in history, art and culture.

Basically, I love many many things and this tends to play into my personality.

Well, as I said in the previous box, I'm a full time student at CSU Fresno and I study English. This semester, I'm going to be done with my GE, so I'll be moving on to the classes that actually pertain to my major.I also have a part-time job to keep the money coming in so I can pay all my bills as a student.

My goal is to become a published author, although that hardly pays the bills 90% of the time. I'm going for my teaching credential for that very reason.

Well, I suppose I'm good at a lot of things, but it's hard to actually say. I definitely don't like bragging. But I tend to be good at the things I'm interested in, or at least I'm good at trying, lol.

I'm good with writing and all the things that go along with English. I actually enjoy writing essays and research papers, believe it or not!

I think I'm also good as an artist. I love doing all kinds of arts and crafts and I'm sure at some point, I've done a good job with something in that area, lol!

I'm good at "roughing it", if that makes any sense. I'm referring to camping/hiking. It's something I enjoy and I'm good at putting up with all the discomforts that go along with it.

I don't really know what else I'm good at, so I'll just suffice to say that I put my all into everything I do, and I always gain something from it. I enjoy doing all sorts of things as a result.

Movies: I'm obsessed with movies. I LOVE to analyze them, but all in good fun. I can't list all my favorite movies because we'd be here all night, but I'll throw out a few... Star Wars trilogy, Indiana Jones trilogy, Iron Man, Batman Begins, Dark Knight, Signs, Sixth Sense, The Village, The Patriot, When Harry Met Sally, 10 Things I Hate About You, Jurassic Park, Green Mile, Shawshank Redemption...the list could go on forever.

Books: As an English Major, I love all kinds of books. Some of my favorite authors are Dostoevsky, Dan Brown, Michael Crichton, Tamora Pierce, JK Rowling, Jane Austen...I love anything from classics to current. I tend to love the fantasy and sci-fi genres the most.

Music: Anything but rap. My favorite band has always been Bon Jovi. I've loved them since I was little :)

Food: Sushi! I love all kinds of things though.

TV: I'm absolutely obsessed with Lost. I'm also a fan of The Office, Bones, House, Jon & Kate Plus 8 and various Animal Planet shows.

6) My friends. I love them all to death.

Life in general, stories/projects I'm working on, movies, Lost, my friends, "what if" scenarios, history, culture, whatever book I'm reading at the time, the church sermon I heard that week, God, Christianity, ect.

Usually going out to the movies or out to eat, or just hanging out somewhere with friends.

I'm afraid of snails. I've always been known for being fine with all kinds of creepy crawlies, like snakes and various bugs/insects and rodents, but for whatever reason, snails give me the creeps. Absolutely won't touch them!
