My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Don't judge one on his look.

But you can judge one on his honesty.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
work 5 days, rest 2 days. repeat.

When it's basketball off-season (July to Oct), I am more productive during office hour.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Listening. Everyone have something to say, nobody is willing to listen..
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I look young. It's a good thing at your 10s (if you can make good use of it), but totally useless at your 20s.
I look white (I mean the skin). I can beat 99% asian on it. But again, it's damn useless.
I look thin. I eat a lot, like really a lot. I'm not sure why law of conservation of energy doesn't apply to me.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Books: George Orwell's 1984, Borges's short stories, Naoki Urasawa's si-fi.

Movies: The Man From Earth (if you know this film and love it, you are a special human being), and whatever films Will Smith is in.

Music: everything but rap (with the exception of Epic Rap Battle of History)....

Food: seafood all day, everyday
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Stickers to write down random ideas
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Doing typical nothing.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I come to this site to learn about its q&a system, which I think is a great way to get deeper conversation and connection between strangers in the way of looking for better matching.

However I feel that Okcupid does not improve this area much, either they don't have smart enough data scientist, or they have no vision/plan to expand the usage of large scale q&a matching.

So here we are, the old school "write something about yourself and put a few pics then we're done". I scan through at least 5000 people on this site, most of the self-written contents are basically the same "I like travel, I like music, I'm open-minded, I'm here to make friends, balabala".

It's just bad that after 20 years of Internet, online dating service is still as raw as In the stone age

I don't think any male other than Brad Pitt need this section. It's not like the mailbox will be full at any point
