My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Self-absorbed egomaniac? (Check.)
Converting the world to my way of thinking? (Work in-progress.)
Of course, everyone else is wrong and I'm right. ;)

Yet I digress...

I am a good person with a wonderful daughter (in the interest of full-disclosure) that I see as often as I can. I am a creative with design as my chosen career. Done it for many years and I have a difficult time seeing myself doing anything else. I grew up with my grandfather who owned a printshop and the town newspaper. Did a stint in the Navy. Thought I wanted to be an architect but chose Industrial Design. There isn't anything else I see myself doing.

I love the outdoors. I love biking (on- and off-road), camping (primitive-ish), hiking, tennis and skiing. I love a swanky club or a great restaurant but I'll go for a gas station burrito too. I'm pretty much open to anything.

I play guitar and, when the mood strikes, a buddy of mine and I pop in and play at various open stages. Fun and cathartic.

I like to get my "geek" on. (Yes, I played Dungeons and Dragons as a kid. Sorry.) I am a SciFi fan. I like "big guns means big fun" flicks from time to time but Michael Bay can wear on me quickly. It's all about a good story. I like the question, "What if?" So I'll take a Gattaca over a Starship Troopers any day.

I prefer to not discuss politics or religion. Every person sets their own course and it's no one else's business. I suppose I could be categorized (hate that word) as a left-leaning, socially liberal libertarian. But I'll generally vote "Democrat." (They seem to "hate" the least.)

I don't really know where I'm going with this but I feel like it's long enough already. I hate to be called a "nice guy" but I usually am. I care for others. I'll put others before myself. I hold doors. I say "please" and "thank you." I can put up with a fair amount but I do have my limits. The person I'm with will be one able to recognize their own behavior. And a friend above all else.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Design and print. Love it. Live it. Grew up around it and I guess it rubbed off.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I honestly have no idea. Perhaps my dry sense of humor. (I have Monty Python to blame for shaping my 13-year old psyche.)
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
1. My daughter. She's my biggest fan. And I'm hers.
2. My Coffee (For the love of all that is holy, don't take my joe! :)
3. My guitars. (My avocation and catharsis.)
4. My Mac (It's how I make my money.)
5. My paycheck
6. My family. They're there for me when others aren't.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
What to do when I grow up.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
At home. My Friday nights are really nothing special right now. (Which I hope to change very, very soon...)
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Wouldn't be private then, would it?
