My self-summary Propose an edit
My name is Philip, but most people just call me Philip.
I never really grew out of playing with Legos.
I love the outdoors, but don't spend as much time in them as I'd
like.
Being closed-minded is something I'm afraid of.
What I'm doing with my life Propose an edit
I'm currently wasting my time earning a Bachelor's degree in a
field slightly askew of my career aspirations. I hope to remedy
this through graduate school. While doing this I'm working part
time at a furniture store where I move furniture, clean, fix
computers, and do a bunch of other handyman activities.
When not working or at school my free time is spent watching
sports, playing video games, or wasting time on the internet. I
also enjoy getting outdoors and engaging in recreational activities
like camping, photography, playing sports, going to the gym, etc.
The first thing(s) people usually notice about me Propose an edit
Not being other people, I wouldn't know. However, people usually
first mention that I look younger than I am, that I don't talk
much, and that I seem really smart. I shrug off the last one but
the truth is I enjoy those compliments way too much.
My favorite books, movies, music, and food Propose an edit
I don't read too many books for recreation but I really enjoyed
Ender's
Game by Orson Scott Card, the Hitchhiker's Guide books by
Douglas Adams, and Hyperspace by Michio Kaku.
Off the top of my head Memento, Saving Private Ryan,
The Matrix,
Blood
Diamond, and Spirited Away are some of my
favorite movies.
As for music I like most things once I've given them a chance. I'm
rather fond of pseudo-indie rock bands like Modest Mouse, Wolf Parade, Tapes 'n Tapes, Bound Stems, and
Bishop
Allen. I like Ska Punk bands including Reel Big Fish, Five Iron Frenzy, and
Sounds
Like Chicken. I also am a fan of Barenaked Ladies, Jars of Clay,
Cursive, Beck, Switchfoot, Arcade Fire, and The Mars Volta.

It's hard to come up with a list like this, so I just named things
I needed today in reverse order.
