I am metal, jaded, and speculative...

My Self-Summary

I just moved to ATX, so I am still investigating the waters. Looking for great dive bars and rock venues. Forever searching for killer Japanese food, a good taco and dying to try out some killer BBQ... heh.

That absolutely told you nothing about me... well indirectly maybe.

I'm a metalhead getting old... I am just looking for some cool folks to hang around with...
I'm basically a non-hip hipster. Live music and good eats are my main passion, besides lovely women with killer senses of humor and baseball (lately, although I am NOT a jock-type.)

The most important thing to me is being chill, enjoying life, laughing and laughing a f-ing lot.

I'll add more later probably.
Feel free to ask me anything.
Cheers.

What I’m doing with my life

Just living...
(re)searching for the master plan...
the next trip to Europe or art project.
the next studio session or good (sometimes veggie) cheeseburger.

I’m really good at

PBR and Makers Mark...
Lone Star and Evan Williams...
I am a huge fan of Kentucky straight bourbons, especially wheated ones lately.
Kentucky vs. Scotland for the world's greatest whisk(e)y...
I'll take the home town...
If that makes any sense to you please contact me immediately.
srsly.

ah, more than booze actually...
other things and all things artistic which equals worthless to my wallet but rich to my soul.
and that's all that fucking matters really.

The first things people usually notice about me

I have very large Elven/Vampire pointed ears that twitch violently when I ogle you.

no, not really.
my uncensored mouth I suppose, I've got tact though!

I am cheesy as fuck as well, I must admit. Not a full on direct ham, but once I get a bit comfortable and can be as vulgar as permitted and very dry.
I'm not mean, just country-fried conditioned (although not a red neck) in humor. srsly.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

Authors: Philip K. Dick, Frank Herbert, Jonathan Lethem, Glen Cook, Thomas Pynchon, George RR Martin, (early) Clive Barker, JG Ballard (rip), Gene Wolfe, Samuel Delaney, Ursula K LeGuin and fucking 'Choose Yr Own Adventure' books from being a kid...
anything speculative.
(there's nothing gay abt a unicorn fighting a dragon, geesh.)

Music: Pretty much everything not mainstream, I guess I am a bit of a snob. I do love good metal, indie, jazz, electronic and I do loathe most radio crap (besides the classics...) I am a musician myself. I have toured the country several times, I am semi-retired now I guess. heh.)
I do adore extreme music (death metal, thrash, punk, noise), but I would not expect you to.
If you follow me I'll drop some jams: Sulaco, Portal, Incrust, Deathspell Omega, Young Widows, Ocean, Stinking Liz, Gorguts & Steely Dan. Especially Steely Dan.

Food: That's my damn hobby besides dive bars. I'm a foodie. If it's good I want to try it. although I try to eat very healthy 80% of the time but rewarding myself is the best part.

movies... Kurosawa.. Young Frankenstein... good ole Davie Lynch... and the Coens for a post-modern giggle.

Yeah, a nerd for good sh*t.

The six things I could never do without

1) Humor
2) Music
3) Challenge
4) Bourbon
5) Creativity
6) a Female

slowly working this out... this might answer the entire secret to all life.

I spend a lot of time thinking about

How I can relocate to Prague, sorta...
well... maybe not 'sorta'...
the over use (by myself) of "..."...

On a typical Friday night I am

There is no typical Friday night...

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

I would do stand-up comedy if the human race wasn't such a bad fucking audience.

You should message me if

..y0u want too.
yr not looking for a new daddy or a father.
what I mean is, I don't think I want to create any of my own children at this point but would possibly love and respect yours if that level of relationship occurred.
(whoa.. got heavy there fer a second.)
also if you...
- appreciate flaw and the madness that comes with art.
- if you think all Chuck Taylors should come to life and wage full out war on men's Tevas. Converse being victorious of crse.

you like my 'partyball' much more than a typical 'sixpack'.
I am a real man. heh.

don't mind if I get a touch baked once in a while.
and it would be sweet if you really appreciated wine and spirits as much as myself or very willing to.

my demands are rough, eh?

thanks for reading.
make sure to tell all yr friends.
(nt srsly)

are you really still reading this?
