My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I always hate writing these, mostly because I always want to re-do the whole thing as soon as it's done. Generally I'm more of an arts meets science kinda guy, but not so wrapped up in my own head that I lose sight of the bigger picture. I'm more laid back, take it easy rather than panic, someone who would rather watch and learn than barge in and mess things up. Which is kind of ironic because the more I try to write a self summary the more I feel like it becomes a jumbled mess.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I hope what I'm doing is making the world a better place, but in all honesty I'm working as a pharm tech, going to classes, and occupying my free time with the little projects that catch my eye. Up on the plate for 2013 are:
-getting more into shape
-extracting essential oils from some of the plants (distillation is fun!)
-learning the guitar, just cause it looks fun.
-finally writing some of the stories I have rattling around in my head
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
This question always makes me think it should be laced with practical stuff and just a smidgen of innuendo,
I can get most anything to grow, it's just keeping it alive that I need to work on. Chemistry is fascinating, both the scientific discipline and the kind that happens between two people. Sadly when I'm involved I'm kinda clueless, but it's getting much better than it used to be.
I can throw darts really well, play a moderate game of pool, read doctor's handwriting, hold a fairly decent conversation and either make, or break the awkward silences that creep up.
I'm mostly a jack of all trades kinda guy, the only things I'm really really bad at are dancing (though I would like to learn), baking (just don't ask, seriously)
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I thought I knew the answer to this question, but I'll leave that for you to decide, after all, I'm kind of biased in my opinions

This is the one part of my profile I've come to realize is long overdue for an overhaul.

Books: I barely have time to read for fun anymore, when I do it's usually a classic or something that's been around for years, thanks to the kindle app on my phone I'm slowly working my way though a few classics.

Movies: oh where to begin, I love the Marx Brothers, most of Tim Burton and David Lynch's stuff, I love Drive, Heat, Devil's Advocate, Public Enemies, Across the Universe, 300, Watchmen, City of Lost Children, Pi, Iron Man, Animal House, Caddy Shack, Ghostbusters, ... really I could keep going, but I'll watch most anything once, even the cheesy/strange/weird stuff.

TV: To be honest I don't watch much TV, mostly I catch a few shows online, the only ones I keep up with on a regular basis are Boardwalk Empire, Walking Dead, Breaking Bad, Sons of Anarchy, and Venture Brothers. Big Bang Theory is ok, but usually can't catch it.

Music: I can't live without and there's not too much I don't like, but my favorite genres are classic rock, hip-hop, 80's music, the blues, and the funk. I have quite a broad collection of CDs/records.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
What can I not do without? Adventure, my phone (I feel so naked without it), my job, my family, my friends, and the occasional night away from all the previous five things.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
If all my hard work really will pay off or if I'll collapse just before the finish line?
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
If all things go well I'll be out in downtown Ft Worth hanging out with a few friends and unwinding from the week.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
