I'm a laid-back, friendly, intelligent guy. I have simple but eclectic tastes. I enjoy hiking and gardening on warm days, and books, movies, and music the rest of the time. Long, wandering conversations are a lot of fun, but quietly sharing a movie or a meal is too.
I tend to be shy at first, but warm up quickly when talking about things we have in common.
Most people tell me they've never met anyone quite like me. Sometimes I think my quirks have quirks, but it keeps life interesting.

I'm planning a major road trip this summer, which will probably end with me moving to somewhere in Washington state.

My favorite author is probably Douglas Adams. My favorite series is probably Wheel of Time. My favorite movies include Devil's Rejects, Imagine Me & You, and Snatch. My favorite current show is Big Bang Theory. I can't pick favorites with music or food, they depend too much on my mood.

Books and music to pass the time in bad weather. A garden of some sort to play in and watch grow. New places to walk, hike, and explore. Pets to care for and play with, and wild animals to feed and observe.

Life, the Universe, and Everything. I'm always learning new things, and coming up with new questions to puzzle out.

I work Saturdays, so Friday night I usually read or watch tv. I've never been much for the usual nightlife anyway.
