My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Back in PA, new to Lancaster.

I like to be outside, so I enjoy any activity that makes the most of being outdoors (hiking, biking, camping, wandering, backpacking, urban adventuring, etc.). Although, thats not to say I don't enjoy lying on the couch with a good book as well.

What I'm really looking for is an intelligent and fun loving person to go on adventures with.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Trying to be the most creative storyteller I can be.

I'm in the midst of a career in television. It can be incredibly stressful at times, but also extremely rewarding. For better or worse, you get to experience a wide range of human emotion in any given week.

I love to tell stories, so it's nice to have a career that allows me to do something different every day.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Having a wide range of interests. I have a voracious appetite when it comes to learning new things (no matter how irrelevant they may be).
Since generality isn't as fun:
The game of LIFE, remembering what page I was on, useless pop culture knowledge, being too lazy to shave, reading a map, and cutting tape to tape.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My blue eyes, or my kind of bizarrely long eyelashes. I sometimes have to blink to get them apart.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Books - Fields of Fire, Ball Four, On The Road, Please Kill Me, The Game, Survivor, The Tender Bar, Money Ball, In the Heart of the Sea, Six Frigates, The Watchmen, A Dying Place, A Heartbreaking Work of Staggering Genius, I read at least a little bit every night (librarians son), so there's really just too many...

TV - The Wire, The West Wing, Friday Night Lights, Freeks and Geeks, Luther, Arrested Development, Community, Parks and Recreation, The League, It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, The Larry Sanders Show, Mad Men, The Walking Dead... I love getting into new TV shows

Music - I'm going to put a spin on a cliche answer... I have an appreciation for most kinds of music (except that awful pop country), but naturally, there are some things I like more than others (e.g., Childish Gambino, David Bowie, American Steel, INDK, The Cure, Weston, Digger, The Overdrives, Saves the Day, Billy Bragg, Samhain, The Misfits, The Band, Kate Nash, The Velvet Underground, The Hood Internet, Rilo Kiley, The Roots, Ben Sollee, The Exploding Hearts).

Food - Sushi, Ethiopian, Indian, Vietnamese, anything spicy, a chicken cutlet on a good roll (the bread is what makes a sandwich), pretzel anything, pumpkin ice cream... trying out new restaurants/dishes/cuisines is a favorite thing of mine

Movies - The Sandlot, Platoon, Anything Wes Anderson, Pulp Fiction, Back to the Future, The Mighty Ducks, Apocalypse Now, Slap Shot, Major League, The Good The Bad And the Ugly, Wet Hot American Summer, Mystery Team, The City of Lost Children, True Grit (Both), 500 Days of Summer
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
A camera
Books
Podcasts
A tent
My car

I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Where our hoverboards are? What I'm going to read next? How much does gas cost? Did I take a white balance? Has anyone ever seen Bill Paxton and Bill Pullman in the same room together?
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I'm disappointed I never had a nickname.

You know where any good used book stores are.

If you think we'd have things in common. If you're intelligent, adventurous, attractive, funny, and like to talk. Like I said, I'm a storyteller. If you're the kind of person who's always ready to throw some stuff in a bag an take a trip at a moments notice.
