My self-summary
I think life is absurd, but mostly in a good way. I'm anti-essentialist, so I don't believe in a True Self. I'm a relativist, a feminist, a compatibilist and a confabulist. I like to lay it on a bit thick sometimes.
What I’m doing with my life
Teaching and thinking and learning. But also trying to avoid self-indulgent existential boredom --mostly successfully. I need help with this, though (i.e., friends to knock me for a loop when I'm "suffering" from a bout of pseudo-deep nihilistic lethargy).

Analyzing, synthesizing, arguing (not the angry kind of arguing). I'm also decent at lounging, hanging, chilling, making sarcastic remarks about bad TV. I'm very bad at making lefty layups, to my great regret.

I pretend to like Infinite Jest but I've really only read ("read"?) about half of it (I really do like Dave Eggers' foreword). I'm into Catcher in the Rye because I love phonies.
