My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Life never turns out the way you expect it... but that is the excitement and surprise of the unknown. It's a good thing!

Good morning Campers! I live in a world of routine and randomness. I excel at attempting to adapt to the world around me, and crashing face first in a fit of laughter as my attempts fail. I can go from zero to goofy faster than you can say "NYUCK!" I've enjoyed this adventure both with and without questing buddies over the years, and think it's time to add one again, possibly for the long haul to the end game. I'm reclusively extroverted, or outgoingly introverted (take your pick). And my gut instinct is usually right, but I'm not always smart enough to listen.

Job Requirements: Fun Loving, adaptable, creative, sarcastic, relaxed. Sanity optional!

What about you?

Also: Something I've noticed... a lot of the women here seem to be, and I quote, "WAY smarter than I am." I'll best get along with those who get the origin of that quote, or are willing to learn where it comes from.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Just trying to find my way through, like everyone else. I've got a job I enjoy & a place of my own to lay my head at night... things are pretty good! Have a roommate in the form of my hetero feline life partner, Hobbes (pictured above).
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Finding things that I'm not really good at! Decent cook (when the planets align for me). I used to be the "Dorm Shrink" in college because I listen & give good advice apparently... or so I'm told!
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I'm short, in a world where everyone wants to look up to people. It's OK though, I got over it (Haw haw!). The second thing is usually my sarcastic dry wit, coupled with a completely complimentary immature sense of humor.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

Too much to list... I love my Kindle & read on it as much as I can.

TV: Deadliest Catch, Mythbusters, Stargate (well.. not anymore), Firefly (Yup... I'ma Browncoat... you can say it!). Don't watch much TV, and when I do it's usually for a movie. Mostly Once Upon a Time and Dexter, and enjoy Real Time with Bill Maher once in a blue. Also a Whovian I suppose! :)

Movies: Too many to name! Everything from Good Will Hunting to Star Trek 2 (KAAAAAAAHHHHHNNNNN!) to Avatar to Love Actually

Music: European stuff mostly, but classic and some modern Rock, classical - and I've gotta geekish love of well-done movie soundtracks. I go through phases with that one though, it's pretty fun waking up one day and saying "You know what? I'm going to put the soundtrack to Last Samurai on a CD and put it in my car, and I'm not taking it out until the next thing pops into my head!" and then I'll do it with the next thing. It's fun!

Food? Anything and everything! I love ethnic foods (Indian, Ethiopian, and Japanese are among my favorite) & am teaching myself to cook, slowly but surely!

I've been caught playing a few PC or N64 games now & then as well, although I got myself a PS3 as a birthday gift to myself last year (right before the PS4 was released!), primarily with the intent to play Beyond: Two Souls (Look up the trailer on Youtube that premiered at the Tribecca Film Festival - it's a game made with complete motion capture with Ellen Page, Willem Dafoe, and looks incredible).
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
* Friends and Family top the list.
* My Car! I love my car :D She's called The Charger (And no, it's not a Dodge Charger, but rather a Honda!)
* Music, it is (or at least, always should be) playing wherever I am if I can help it.
* The interwebs, I'm not sorry to say - keep in touch with alota people that way.
* Relaxation - no matter what the means, just gotta unwind!
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
The future, the past, the present, whats for dinner, did I leave the iron on... Mostly the future though.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Hell, pick something. Out at a pub, club, movie, theater... at home getting ready to work a weekend shift, staying in working on some project or another, or else something completely random.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My trust is more easily given than I generally admit or let on. I also notice a lot more of what goes on around me than I let on.

Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
You don't take things too seriously and can go with the flow of things (as the man said, "Don't take life too seriously, you'll never get out alive.")

You are the kind of girl who would love it if a guy said "You're so cute that I want to throw a rainbow at you."

While I'd like to meet someone for the long haul, there are many roads to get there and I like to be open minded about life.

So... You in? Or out? You should aughta be saying in, by the by ;)
