I made a typo in my username.

I am currently an engineering student that is set to graduate soon, and I'm working on deciding on what career path I'm going to take. When I'm not slaving away with that, I am usually out with friends or watching movies. I typically am very social, but also enjoy quiet time every now and again just relaxing or napping.

Being in engineering does bring out my inner nerd, so I guess beware of that.

I very much enjoy the outdoors, and I'm sure once I graduate I'll have more time to go out camping and hiking like I want. I am also really into film. I get really into movies and pay close attention to both the plot and the camerawork and effects. It's an art form I really appreciate. Then again, I find myself gravitating towards movies that are made for cheap laughs, but I mostly enjoy subtle humor.

Other than that...well...just ask.

About to graduate with a BS in mechanical engineering, so that's really my life at this point.

Making people laugh. I like to think I have a pretty fun personality and can really make people feel welcome and have a good time. Also, I pride myself in my ability to eat lots of food. Seriously. I'd love to visit new restaurants with new people and eat everything in the world.

My height.

The second thing people notice is my height again, only louder.

If the person has had a few to drink, my height is mentioned a few more times.

I'm very interested in entertainment of all kinds.

I'm gonna go ahead and rip this band-aid off since it can be a dealbreaker for some, but I don't read all that much.

Wait, calm down, I can explain.

I do enjoy reading, but I do find it hard to find a book that I'll be genuinely interested in based on the cover alone. I'm always happy to take recommendations, but I'm not part of a book club nor do I have much interest in following emails from Oprah. As far as books I've actually read, Bill Bryson's work has always kept me interest. I also read A Series of Unfortunate Events as a kid, and I've been meaning to read it again, because I'm sure I'd still enjoy it as a bill-paying adult. Others include Ender's Game, Ransom, Lowboy, and Bright Lights Big City.

Music is definitely something I appreciate having in my everyday life. My taste varies based on my mood, but on any given day I can be listening to most anything. As far as a quick list goes to give you a taste of what's in my library, I've got artists including Ben Folds, Ok GO, Barenaked Ladies, Girl Talk, Avett Brothers, LCD Soundsystem, The Black Keys, Das Racist, Paul Simon, The Eels, The Books, Mariachi El Bronx, Childish Gambino, Milkman, and The Tune-Yards. I call that list, The Sampler.

I'm huge into movies, but actually haven't been to a theater in ages. I'm not against the idea by any means, but I usually can't get super into seeing a movie that's come out recently until it's too late. Except Django. That was awesome. I love a good action-drama/crime movie, but I tend to lean more towards quirky-humor movies like The Coen Brothers or Wes Anderson. I will say that I think my favorite movie of all time is probably Goodfellas.

I don't watch a whole lot of TV religiously, but I have a few shows I watch, namely Community, Archer, House of Cards, and Bob's Burgers. Also I'm rewatching LOST because screw you, that show was awesome and you can just shut up, MOM.

As far as food goes, if it's edible, I'll eat it. I'm a vacuum in front of something delicious covered in any one of the mother sauces. Also I'm a sucker for avocado. Guac for days and I'm a happy man.

Why six? This number sucks. I've told you what I enjoy, but I can live without them I suppose. I'd rather not be without them, but that's my business, not yours OKC.

I had a list of 6 things earlier, but those things were really stupid. One of them was Dr Pepper. It's delicious and all, but I can live a perfectly healthy life without it.

But seriously let's talk about things then get drinks sometime. It'll be fun. We'll talk, we'll dance. Well, you'll dance...I'll mostly just sit by the wall because I'm about as graceful as a horse on a frozen pond, but we can pretend I danced. Then you can tell your friends "I met this guy and he danced soooo well, oh man." But here's the thing, I didn't dance that well, but it was better than saying "Once there was this tall guy." It'll be just the best.
