Self-summary.. were such a thing so easy..

Anyway, let's get the basics out of the way: I'm a tall, occasionally silly, usually thoughtful, geek who likes and watches sports, likes building things and creating with his hands, once collected those rubber bouncy-balls you find in Chinese buffets, is a gamer, has many interests and tends to bounce between them, loves Eddie Izzard and anyone else who makes him laugh, is liberal and is glad there's no longer a Republican in the white house, loves dogs and cats that don't make him sneeze, has a large voice but is sometimes quiet, sings in the car when noone else is watching, likes gadgets and gizmos, is affectionate, and believes in a person's right to live the way they want to live.

How's that for starters?

(Oh, and a friend asked me what the deal was with having "Casual Encounters" clicked. Don't be weirded out by it.. I just clicked everything, since I want to meet all sorts of folks. I'll try anything once, or twice if I'll learn something. I won't lunge for your naughty bits straight away. Promise. No lunging of any kind, in fact. Yep. I'm completely lungeless.

..is that even a word? Shouldn't I have closed this parenthetical monologue by now? Is my hovercraft full of eels? Can I have a cheezburger?

Currently working a fairly typical geek job, and enjoying my new apartment, while still trying to get everything just so. Looking for new people, new experiences, and new beginnings.

Making people laugh, speaking English, being a pillow, reaching high shelves, shooting a bow, lifting and carrying, beating people up (but only in a game), kissing, doing voices, fixing broken computers, eating cheeseburgers..

I could list more, but then I wouldn't seem very modest..

My height, generally. I'm 6'4". Which is like, really tall for most women. :P Other than that.. my laugh, perhaps, or my eyes?

I haven't read much for fun lately, but I'm trying to remedy that. Last few I've read were Ender's Game, A Game of Thrones, Survivor by Chuck Palahniuk, and am working through Albert Camus' The Plague, because someone told me I should read it, and I'm a sheep.

I love action movies and movies where something blows up, which I think is genetic due to being male. Favorites are Batman Begins, Mr. and Mrs. Smith, Iron Man, the new Hulk movie, etc. I love all of the superhero movies, as I was really big into the comics for a while.

I'm mostly a modern rock sort of person, but there are artists from a lot of different genres that I like. Stuff ranging from Barenaked Ladies, Breaking Benjamin, Seether, Bosstones, Dropkick Murphys.. to stuff like Coldplay, BT, Muse, to even a little classical, boroque.. I can't explain it.

When it comes to food, I'm a meat eater. I dig Chinese, a little Thai (not too spicy, please), some pasta.. but in general, I'm happy with a burger or steak, wings.. typical american fare. Granted, my strangest cravings are for bubble tea, grapes, and sushi. But not at the same time. That would be weird.

If I can cut Mountain Dew out of my life after college, I can learn to live without just about anything, but if pressed, I'd say:

A computer (oh, I could live, sure.. but.. it'd be tough)
Laughter
Affection

Changes that need to be made for myself. How much many Republicans suck (I can't say all, they can't all be lunatics). What I will have for dinner. Why cats are illiterate. How to make my next date better than my last one. What my next job will be.

Out with friends, watching bad movies... seems to be a trend, lately..
