A little girl is first in line, she's dressed up so pretty, she looks quite divine.

“Oh please! Candy man sir! I want something sweet in my mouth! If I don't get it, I will certainly pout!”

“I have many things on my shelves, whatever you desire I will certainly sell. So please little girl, there's no reason to shout.”

“I want the biggest chocolate bar that you have! I want it! I want it! I am getting mad!”

“Here is a bar that is so tasty. But if I were I wouldn't be so hasty. Cause if you eat it too fast you'll get a tummy ache. And you'll go home feeling bad”

Off with a scamper, he is soon gone

Onward we go, to the very next one

“I want candy and make sure it is hard!”

“Don't you worry little girl, I got something that will keep you on guard.”

“A jawbreaker that is sure to last. Though try not to eat it too fast.”

The line keeps getting bigger, but I can't quit

When you work in this business, you keep going with a grit
