Your Notes
Edit your notesI am smart, sweet, and sarcastic.
My Self-Summary
I have a very sarcastic sense of humor that can be very dry & dark at times. If you have a hard time understanding sarcasm, or think that people who try to find humor/irony in their life's drama, you should probably look elsewhere.
**a point of clarification: just because I say I like photography does NOT mean I like naked pictures/pornographic images.
What I’m doing with my life
I’m really good at
Coming up with very random and unique commentary on any situation/movie/book/TV show (I've been told my narration of the Lord of the Rings movies is quite good, as well as my personal summary of the final Harry Potter book-maybe if we meet, and things go well, you might get to see it for yourself).
The first things people usually notice about me
My favorite books, movies, music, and food
Pride & Prejudice & Zombies
Harry Potter
Twilight (if you read it as a semi-comedy/parody, it's hilarious)
Macbeth, Hamlet, A Midsummer Night's Dream
The Catcher in the Rye
The Keira Knightley version of Pride & Prejudice, or if I have 6 hours to kill, the Colin Firth version.
Love, Actually
300 (great on its own, even greater when watched as a pseudo-comedy)
Mr. & Mrs. Smith
Moulin Rouge!, Romeo + Juliet, Strictly Ballroom
the good Disney films (i.e. the ones where characters still sang)
Rachel Getting Married
Little Miss Sunshine
The Lord of the Rings (extended version, of course)
anything and everything by Kevin Smith, especially Dogma**if you're an extremely devout Roman Catholic and cannot laugh at the Church in the slightest bit, turn back now**
The Departed
The Bourne Identity, Supremacy, Ultimatum
Eastern Promises
Volver
Frida
The Painted Veil
Bringing Up Baby
The Man Who Came to Dinner
Arsenic and Old Lace
I could keep going, but I think that's enough for now.
Music is pretty much anything-a lot of Top 40 pop, rock, rap, also a lot of classic rock I was raised on and got from my mom (AC/DC, Aerosmith, Talking Heads, Tom Petty, The Clash, The Ramones, Queen, INXS, and of course, The Beatles).
The six things I could never do without
The sun-growing up in one of the cloudiest cities in the U.S. I've definitely learned that aside from burning my skin to a lovely shade of lobster red that will probably give me skin cancer someday, the sun is something I simply cannot do without.
My sense of humor-without it, I would probably be dead by now.
My sketchbook/journal-I always least one with me all the time, just to doodle, write down thoughts/notes/ideas/weird dreams/etc...
My friends-because for me, my family isn't made of those whose blood I share, it's made of those whom I love, and who love me in return
My memories
I spend a lot of time thinking about
On a typical Friday night I am
-in the darkroom with friends (because what better way to start the weekend with friends than working in near darkness with large amounts of semi-toxic chemicals in a room with a semi-efficient ventilation system)
-asleep, after crashing from a week of too many all nighters/mornings
-Boston to do some shopping, see a movie, grab dinner, or just wander around enjoying the city at night
