Audrey Hepburn once said "I love people who make me laugh. I honestly think it's the thing I like most, to laugh. It cures a multitude of ills. It's probably the most important thing in a person."I completely agree with this quote.

I love movies (especially older movies, see below for a top 10 list.)
I love giraffes.
I hate the term 'fashionista'
I know all the words to the Canadian national anthem
I can change a diaper in 45 seconds flat
I lived in Isreal for a while back in college.
I kick some serious butt at Scrabble & Words With Friends
I like to memorize soliloquies from Shakespeare's plays.
I knit...Scarves, hats, etc. I'm making a pair of slippers for my mom for Christmas.
I finally took my guitar out of the closet & am trying to keep it in tune.
I usually have fabric dye on my hands, legs or feet.
I am a liberal & make no apologies or excuses, I believe a government should take care of it's people..PERIOD.
I HATE being called sassy

I recently mastered souffles.
My personal style is laid-back bohemian. I love peasant skirts & simple dresses. I am most comfortable in flip-flops, jeans & a tank top. I wear scarves in my hair & simple jewelry. My favorite clothes are those I have had for ages & are well worn.
I have three tattoos & plan on getting more. Two of them are memorials for departed loved ones, I have a paw print on the inside of my left wrist & a rather cryptic tattoo on my left shoulder for my dad (there is a photo of it here on my profile.). I also have the mirror of Erised from Harry Potter on my right thigh, this is a tattoo that I share with my aunt & cousins. I believe my tattoos express an intrinsic part of who i am & what is important to me.
I guess I should explain my screen name. I was a double major in photography & communications in college. I had planned to go to grad school for photojournalism but I got derailed when I started substitute teaching. I realized my place was in the classroom with kids & I have never looked back. I still love photography & try to get out with my camera every so often.
