I am an open minded person that with each passing day I find new
parts of myself. I am on a journey to find the real me. My lifes
goal is to live long enough to do good for at least one person,
change one thing, lobby for social justice issues, and to make a
difference in the place that i live.
If you must know how I identify, its a bit on the complected side
but the best way I can explain it is I am a Queer Lesbian. If you
have questions or just want to chat let me know... I love meeting
kindred spirits.
What I’m doing with my life
Right now the over all theme is just trying find me in the depths
of social norms. I am working on my last year of undergrad work for
education, working on my activism for size acceptance, GLBT and
Human Rights, Reproductive Justice, and so much more. I am also
working on trying to better the society around me... in doing so I
am learning more and more about myself.
I’m really good at
I am really good at ... wow... I love working with people, social
justice issues, children, art and music. I am a jack of many trades
if you will.
The first things people usually notice about me
People usally notice my laugh, eyes and smile. They also take note
of my gentle, uninhibited, laid back, eco/third wave feminist type
personality. They notice the kind gentle side of me too. People
also notice my creative side, ability to work with children easily,
my sense of community, compassion, and easy going type personality.
So in essence my personality eyes and smile.
My favorite books, movies, music, and food
I love Susan Wiggs, Nicolas Sparks, Edward Paul Evans, and Several
Fiction and non fiction GLBT Titles as well.
Movies I love a lot of movies romance, some action, and documentary
even. I like some GLBT Titles too.
Food. I love food in general southern food especially because I am
a southerner and its home cooking to me. I love Chinese and other
cultural foods as well. But hold the meat cause I am a vegetarian
that eats fish only. I guess the words would be Light Veggie.
The six things I could never do without
1. Cell phone
2. Music playing device
3.Computer
4. family and friends
5. Camera
6. Knowing where home was
I spend a lot of time thinking about
I spend a great deal of time thinking about activism, school,
social issues, writing and how to better the world around me.
On a typical Friday night I am
I am usally at home eating pizza and watching a movie or pending on
how tired I am sleeping. Occasionally ill be at a conference or out
