A definite out-of-towner looking at LA with a suspicious side-long
glance. Laid-back with a goofy-sense of humor hiding a bit of a
philosophical streak. I guess a basic Gen-X kind of guy would be
me. Interests include football, movies, doing outdoorsy stuff if
the weather isn't crap, reading, writing, hanging with friends,
baseball, comics, various geek stuff, and current events,
especially the political scene.
Non-smoker & social drinker, but I just say no to drugs. I
don't do the dance club or bar scene anymore, been there, done that
back in the day. Would rather hit a concert, great movie, good
restaurant, or other sociably accepted hangery, (yes, that's a
word, that I just made up.) I'm a moderate liberal with a
passionate distaste for religions, but the Pastafarians are okay
What I’m doing with my life
Answering the Middle East crisis, feeding the starving children,
and finding a cure for Disney pop-sensations. Or, slowly ambling
down the road of self-discovery, picking up a few great friends
here and there, and hoping that maybe, just maybe, I can find a bit
of happiness along the way.
I’m really good at
Procrastinating, making people laugh, being a purveyor of knowledge
or a well of trivia for friends to plunder, writing, critical
analysis (in the classical sense for art and such stuff), making
asterisks, being goofy yet organized and usually on time, making
typoes, ridiculing the Republican Party, being disappointed in the
Democratic Party, and other things a gentleman shouldn't discuss in
public, unless you have enough cash.
The first things people usually notice about me
That I'm a pretty good listener.

The six things I could never do without
2. The beach.
4. Books, books, and more books.
5. The desire to keep learning.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Is the rhythm really gonna get me, tonight, tonight? How do boy
bands keep making a comeback? Can you really rock and roll all
night AND party every day?
There's the usual stuff, bills, job, how friends are doing, etc.
But I'm usually mulling over some story I'm working on in the back
of my head. And I'm a political junkie, so this year it's the
presidential race. Or the list of chores/errands I should have
gotten done that day.
On a typical Friday night I am
Either chilling at home, gearing up for the weekend or out and
about getting food with a friend or catching a movie.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I once shot a man in Reno, just to watch him die.
You should message me if
If anything you read made you laugh, you're looking for a new
friend in this fiend of a city, or something said, "Well, he
doesn't seem like the type to chop me up and keep me in a freezer."
