I am sensitive, imaginative, and open-minded.

My Self-Summary

I'm not much of a people person and usually just the selected few close to me also get to know my outgoing side, while the majority might perceive me as somewhat reserved. Since I don't care much about superficialities I consider having just a few close friends way more precious than a huge circle of acquaintances.

A dream of mine is to find my true passion and also to follow it passionately. My current ones are traveling and seeing and learning as much about the world as possible, while I try to capture my visual impressions in photographs. Taking the latter artistically is my aspiration, but I don’t call myself an artist, nor do I consider myself good at it.

While I’m an avid daydreamer and very prone to escapism of any kind, I also like to deal with the "real world" and I esp. find social sciences and psychology an exciting subjects. Recently I've discovered diving to be a wonderful relaxing thing to do.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

books: Edmund Rostand - Cyrano De Bergerac, Erich Fromm - The Art of Loving, Connie Palmen - The laws & Idols and their murderes, Sylvia Plath - The Bell Jar, Erich Fried, Max Frisch, Sarah Kane, Natalie Angier - The Canon & Natural Obsessions, Kurt Vonnegut, Nineteen-Eightyfour

movies:American History X, Fight Club, Donnie Darko, The Downfall, Gladiator, Schindler's List, The Green Mile, The Matrix, Lost in Translation, Dead Poets Society, The Colour Purple, Butterfly effect, TheExperiment, The Pianst, A Beautiful Mind, Anatomie, The Dreamers, Memento

music: The Cranberries, Massive Attack, Kevin Shields, Apocalyptica, Wolfsheim, Sade, Pink Floyd, Tori Amos, My Bloody Valentine
