His journal posts

drunk drivers suck...

This past Sunday morning after the block party, I was in the drive thru at a local taco bell. The car in front of me decided that the line was taking too long to move. So he decided to put his car in reverse and put it on top of the hood of my car. But obviously this wasn't enough for this clown. He pulled forward and looked around bewildered, and then for reasons beyond my understanding got the great idea to back his car up onto my hood again. After he pulled off this time, we both got out of our cars. He was having trouble putting together sentences containing understandable words.
him- "are you allright?"
me- "ya, but the front of my car's not."
him- "well, what do we do now?"
me- "first of all, do you have insurance?"
HERE IS THE KICKER!!!!
him- "yes, but i don't have a license."
me- "well there's only one thing to do. go get your insurance info"
i knew he wasn't coming back once he got to his car, so i was already in the process of dialing 911. and sure enough he drove off. I was still able to get his license plate info though and give that to the police. the police took an hour to get there. and to this day they still haven't tracked down this guy's plates or anything. I used to be against drunk driving, but this is almost enough to put me over the edge and make me near fanatical about it. IF YOU DRINK HAVE THE FUCKING DECENCY TO GET A DRIVER OR CALL A CAB!!!

An image of denversinner That is seriously fucked up. Have you considered trying to track the guy down yourself or given this info to your insurance company? Insurance companies will often go to great lengths to get reimbursed.

An image of PhysX unfortunately my insurance company is too lazy, and told me it would be best to let the cops find the guy. I'v been calling them daily, but the traffic division doesn't want to seem to get off their ass and type it into google. i'm sure it's slightly more complicated than that, but it can't be too much harder.

An image of denversinner Bummer... Have you tried going back to the scene of the crime and seeing if they show up again? Obviously they go to that Taco Bell and probably live in the area. Stranger things have happened.
