My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm an artsy-fartsy musician with brains and mischief.

I really care about my friends and family and seek to nurture and strengthen bonds with all.

When I get into something (like when I make bread or grow beets) I get really excited about refinement.

I believe books are a great way to learn but person to person contact is better.

Sometimes I'm quite gregarious, and other times I'm just as happy talking one-on-one in the corner.

Though I'm not as slim as when I was 20, I still dance around the apartment like I am. All grace, no beauty. :'( ...hug me
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I'm a professional musician. Most of my work comes though singing in choirs and opera companies. While I keep advancing my career I also tune pipe organs with a buddy of mine. No two days are the same in my life, that's for sure.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
-soap grafting
-buying the right amount of almonds from Bulk Barn to fill a Mason jar.

I make fantastic beer! I've been brewing at home for three years now and damn I'm good at it...if you like flavour in your beer (sorry Coors Lite drinkers)

I'm a great singer and always trying to improve. Though I mainly sing in the operatic or classical style these days I did sing in rock bands when I was a reckless teen. I'll also learn your favourite song on guitar and sing it with you.

I can hold my own on the piano and guitar.

I love cooking. I bought my first real chef's knife 15 years ago and I haven't looked back. Lately I've made up some fantastic falafel balls, and soba noodles from scratch. Yum!

I'm really good at portaging. Oh, 3000m and up hill? Bring it!
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
"Oh you've changed your facial hair again"
"Wow, I never would have guessed that you were such a good dancer"
"Your sense of humour is like dry toast"
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Not sure what my favourite book is but I'm currently reading Lonely Planet Mallorca for my summer Mediterranean trip.
I really don't watch many movies or TV shows, but I am fond of Arrested Development and Star Trek TNG.
There are only two types of music: good music and bad music. I like good music. At home I usually play piano to fill my place with music. Bach, Beethoven, Schubert, Schumann and Mozart are no strangers to my listening walls. Jazz and Bluegrass get me moving too.
How to pick my favourite food? The short list would be pizza (made fresh, of course), daal, good bread, olive oil, cilantro, tomatoes...ok this is getting ridiculous. Anything made fresh with love.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Art (music, paintings, theatre etc.)
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
What I'm doing with my life in a healthy "examined" way.

I think a lot about who I am and who I want to be.

I think about my relationships and how I can improve them.

I think about what kind of adventures I'm gonna get up to this week.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
In rehearsal, having a beer with a friend or knitting quietly at home. Add 15 points if all three happen on the same Friday.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I seem to collect nearly empty jars of honey. Most reasonable people would just recycle them, while I think there's a smidge more honey to get out. But then I buy more honey. Can someone please stop by and throw them out when I'm not looking.
