My Self-Summary
I respect honesty and integrity. The truth is important to me and a somewhat rare thing in this world.
I have a dry and almost irreverent sense of humour, which you may have realised already, but I do try to be charming and *cough* modest enough to pull it off.
I like alternative music (whatever that means these days, basically not chart or bland indie) and can sometimes be found trampled to near death at a noisy, hot, sweaty gig or festival. I’m fond of football, too, but watching Tottenham Hotspur is more like being entertained by several children’s clown entertainers after several pints of snakebite rather than anything resembling sport (STOP PRESS: Not this season!).
I have an acoustic guitar which I have been meaning to master for about nine years. One day I will be able to play something of more artistic and technical merit than the beginning bit of the James Bond theme.
What I’m doing with my life
I’m really good at
The first things people usually notice about me
My favorite books, movies, music, and food
Musically, I tend to stray more left of field but am open to most things. David Bowie is probably my favourite artist (from Ziggy Stardust to Scary Monsters). If I was to pick a favourite song it would be Musette and Drums by Cocteau Twins. This will change with the weather, though.
The six things I could never do without
I spend a lot of time thinking about
And wondering when Wispa Mint bars will make a comeback.
