I am innovative, logical, and sincere.
My Self-Summary
Here's the hard part. The "talk about me" section that everyone
mentions being the hard part. But, here goes..
I will be the first to admit I'm a
geek. I am very much into
music of all kinds with just a few
exceptions. I like people, am good at making and keeping friends,
for whom I will do most anything for if the need arises. I work
hard and dedicate myself to my work, but also know when to take
time to myself and my friends. My off-time is very separate from
work. I am a very
sincere person and value
honesty. Not much offends
me. I collect classic
arcade and
pinball machines and do most of my own
work on them. Yes, I was one of those kids who spent time in the
arcades when I could. Now, I'm one of those grown-up kids who has
an arcade at home.
Why am I here? What am I looking for? To meet people. New friends
are always nice, but ultimately I would like to meet someone that I
have that indescribable chemistry with and go from there.
What I’m doing with my life
Working, enjoying my job, and enjoying my off-time more. life is
way too short. Taking on the challenge of life at full tilt and
determined to stay on top. (of life, that is.. ahem!)
I’m really good at
Fixing stuff,
computers,
electronics,
etc. Things requiring mechanical
logic. Also very
compassionate and willing to help
others.
The first things people usually notice about me
No one really tells me this. I've been told I look younger than I
am. If we talk and we do meet, you tell me!
My favorite books, movies, music, and food
Books: Don't read much outside of news and stuff on the net.
Movies: Lots of 80s films, especially John Hughes flicks. Most
comedies, anything Pixar, Scifi/fantasy and action.
Music: My tastes are very wide and varied. Love
classic rock,
progressive rock,
jazz,
new age,
classical,
eclectic,
indie,
80s,
oldies and even some country. Some
artists that have graced my mp3 player lately:
Spock's Beard,
Mostly Autumn,
Porcupine
Tree,
Moonrise,
Boston,
Saga,
Heart and
Kansas to name a few. I regularly listen
to classic rock but it really depends on the mood.
Foods: Italian! I also like good Mexican and southern style
'comfort' food.
The six things I could never do without
(In no particular order) Food Water and Air (I count this as one
thing), Music, Friends, Love, Internet and my phone. (the means to
communicate)
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Life, where I'm going, what I'm doing. How to make it better.
On a typical Friday night I am
Relaxing after a long work week, usually with a select group of
friends at our regular Friday night meeting for dinner.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit here
It wouldn't be private if I revealed it here, would it?
You should message me if
You like making new friends, you think we have much in common, you
use proper grammar, you dig geeks, you love music, or you just want
to..
