I'm just a smiley gal who believes good luck is what happens when opportunity meets initiative.

I can be a little feisty sometimes, mostly it has positive application.

I'm warm, generous and affectionate in word and actions. People that are mistrusting, negative, constantly cynical or cold, puzzle and frustrate me

I like asking questions, picnics, museums, sleeping in, debating, couchsurfing, and making those random moments with strangers you never forget.

I love nature, gardening and being outside, but i'm not into the beach so much

I love travel, festivals and art. I love to dance but don't do it well or often enough. Salsa and is on my 'must learn soon' list.

I need my quiet time as much as time with others.

I am one of those people that not only eats the pickle but asks for double.

Living it the only way I know how, with a funloving and resourceful spirit, a little forebearance and a big sense of humour!

Possibly that I ask a lot of questions and start off assuming we're great mates. Time will confirm or prove otherwise.

I don't really care too much about the superficial features of a person or their life. Mainly, I want to know what you care about, what you're doing about it and can we laugh at it together.

Let's go backwards here, just for the hell of it.

Food....I love to cook and eat out on occasion but mostly I eat pretty healthy stuff. Fruit, veges, fish and red meat are full of Win.

Music... Music is a language I don't really understand. I can barely tell one genre from the next half the time. My ideal partner would be someone who loves music and can introducde me to new and interesting sounds. Don't get me wrong, I have my own tastes and likes but I'm happy to let someone else make 90% of the music decisions in life.

I do love live gigs

Movies.... Yay movies. Two random faves: Chasing Amy and Danny Deckchair. There are lots of others.

Books.... I love reading and discussing books. My favourite book is (By the way. i'm actually Bi. But experience has taught me not to put that obviously on my profile) probably The Time Travellers Wife. Some of my other favourites are:

I've always wanted to experience living in a place where i'm in the cultural mintority.

I love other people's children, but I'm not sure if I want to have my own kids. Some days, I feel the clock ticking and I don't feel good about it. Other days I think "Bah, I like my life. I'm not sure I ever want to have to worry about feeding and clothing somebody else".
