My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm a single and apparently quirky kinda guy. Been told I'm Leonard in The Big Bang Theory. I'm a techie at heart but caring and loving with it. I'm not your alpha male, but consider myself a gentleman. That doesn't mean I'm a pushover though and I'll give as good as I get. Honesty is important to me... I might not promise you much, but I'll do everything I can to keep the promises I make.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I work in IT, 'playing' with computers. Have focused a bit too heavily on work in the past and now trying to centre the balance. In my spare time I like to get out and about walking/driving/hiking in new places. I'm a very amateur photographer and enjoy taking pictures of places I've been. Recently returned from a long overdue holiday to Western Australia and can't wait to go back and see the rest.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
technical/practical - know how things work and how to DIY,
don't mind cooking, though getting more adventurous
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My dry sense of humour. I love a bit of banter!
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

Anything Tom Clancy... spy stuff. Quite liked Dan Brown. Reading some of Clive Cussler at the moment. Favourite book H.G. Wells - War of the Worlds.

Movies... anything adventurous. Enjoy disater movies and some sci-fi though I'm not massively into fantasy or paranormal stuff. Like the tech rather than the aliens. Favourite films is probably Apollo 13. Also like something that makes you think... Knowing, A Few Good Men, Men Of Honour, The Green Mile, K19:Widowmaker etc. I'll put my hands up and admit to liking You Got Mail too.

Music - all sorts... from 50s/60s rock and roll through jazz and blues, the 90s - Oasis, U2 to modern day.... Snow Patrol, Killers etc. Anything 'musical' and preferably something you can sing along too. I didn't get on much with Brit pop era. Not massively into classics, but enjoy some pieces leaning towards the opera side.

Food - a bit of all sorts. I'm happy with English favourites - steak and kidney, bangers and mash etc, but also love foreign cuisine. Most things go, including Italian, Indian, Thai, Chinese, Moroccan. Don't mind what it is as long as it's tasty! Memorable meals... goat curry, kangaroo steak, rabbit casserole and barbecued fresh mackerel on a Devon beach.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Oxygen, water, food, money, sleep, cuddles! Seriously now... coffee, curry and pasta would have to be high on the list. Fresh country air, my camera and someone to share them with.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
unfulfilled dreams. Places I'd like to visit, things I'd like to do... all with a certain someone.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Tired but like to chill out with good company. Generally a wind-down night either at home or with friends.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I enjoy cuddles!
