I am random, cozy, and sleek.

My Self-Summary

First off, I think this thing/place is terribly amusing but I don't look at it very much because I'm not in the market as it were.

I am a very silly person who does not categorize well. This is to say that I fit in a lot of categories. I'm also somewhat old fashioned about the internet. I love it, and I use it but I don't want it to replace real objects. There's nothing like a well made object. I suppose you might say I'm an artist too. I believe that's where the appreciation of craft comes from - knowing what craft is. But I'm not really an artist because a lot of artists make craftless junk.

More on categories and lack of being in them properly. I might be white, I might be asian, I might be girly, I might kick your ass, I might be unproductive, I might make cool things - that's really up to what you see. Oh and my best friend says my tagline should be "Optimal is for wussies."

What I’m doing with my life

I work and play and try to keep the play higher than the work, although this is not always feasible. At work I am a web graphic designer, which is ironic because I don't really shop online by choice. The rest of the time I'm a fairly happy person who just wants to keep her life cozy and stress free. I think that this is the more important part.

I’m really good at

Making stuff. My level of craft in meatspace is excellent.

The first things people usually notice about me

I am not what I seem. Though I'm sorta thin, I'm not frail. I'm an artist and I'm friends with mostly programmers and engineers. I'm crazy because I took biochem for fun. I am not fashionable at all but still stylish. I play an awful lot of video games for a "girl". And I always get the "Are you asian?". Half! Half!

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

- Xenocide, Good Omens, Hitchhikers, Snowcrash

- Kiki's Delivery Service, When Harry Met Sally, American Beauty

- Depeche Mode, Red Hot Chili Peppers, U2, Prick, Offspring, Bjork

- Sushi, Wildberry torte, Steak, Imperial rolls, pie (mostly apple, though the pie shape is always appealing)

The six things I could never do without

My glasses (for seeing, I'm so blind!), my computer (Yes, I'm an addict), books (I get so bored easily and reading makes it go away), food and drink (I enjoy the taste of sustenance), my watch (can't stand to be without it), and my keys (so I can always go home)

I spend a lot of time thinking about

How is this different from the little self summary question? I don't think about anything for so horrendously long that it becomes my defining characteristic - too much life going on.

On a typical Friday night I am

Feeling vaguely happy that Friday night is no different from any other night, and feeling vaguely sad that my whole life is a weekend right now.

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

Yes, that quiz result is probably true.
