After college, a bunch of my friends slowly moved out of the city, so now I'm looking to meet some new people around town, add a bit of variety to the 8-6 routine or at least have something to look forward to at the end of the day.
I have a good sense of humor (sometimes too much so and don't take some things as seriously as I probably should), am easily entertained, and not easily offended. I am just as likely to stay in and watch a string of random movies as I am to go to a catch a concert or do something outside like whitewater rafting, mud run obstacle courses, or just chillin at a park. Then there's the perfect combo of the two--movies in the park! But buying music and going to live shows is where most of my money goes, and I'm 1,000% OK with that. If you share in that last statement, odds are we'd have an excellent time together. Good music brings out the best in me.
On any given Saturday, you can either find me in a record store (avoiding hipsters) or strolling around the Strip. Once spring comes around, I'll be headed to some Bucco games--pretty lucky that I can go to one of the best ballparks in the world for $10 even though the Buccos haven't had a winning season since I was 5. My trunk is a graveyard of broken wooden bats and overused baseballs.
I travel a good amount for work and I dig it. I usually try to find something off the wall from each place I go and stock my place with them. The coolest thing at the moment is a 2' tall hand carved wooden tiki mask with a dragon exploding out of it's forehead from Hawaii.
I'm just starting to get into different scotch whiskys and it's awesome. Makes me feel like I should grow a beard and have a better vocabulary. Hopefully that's a side effect.
My favorite holiday is the 4th of July and my car is almost as old as I am. I'm a little OCD, maybe a little ADD, and like to have a well-ironed shirt and shined shoes when I leave the house to go to work.
