My self-summary
I feel, the best way to self-summarize myself is talking about my values & belief system. It’s a long read, but there is a reward at the end :-)

I’ll start by revealing a secret that I firmly believe. I think, I’m blessed by God with immense ‘Good Luck’ for everything I do (or want) in life. Having an awareness of how fortunate I am, makes me very humble, grateful, generous & grounded for all the success I have in my life. Sometimes, it breaks my heart to see people more privileged than me, waste an opportunity to do something great, and rather do frivolous things.

At very early stage in life (maybe 5-6 years old), I realized that I think differently than many people around me i.e. I always more clarity & understanding about how thing work (the cause & effect cycle). Having better awareness of how things works in real life, allowed me to make better decisions in life, and avoid situations (or actions) that could get me in trouble down the road. Till date, it is quite common to me that people initially reject my suggestions, and acknowledge to me later that I was right.

I love my job, because it is an amazing career with infinite growth potential. I work in Clinical Research industry, supporting Pharma/Biotech companies with my Data Management expertise. Like many, I started my career with entry-level position, worked hard to make my way up the corporate ladder, and recently launched my own ‘Start-up’ company, based in Kendall Square. I’ve learned that being an entrepreneur is very demanding and stressful, and only way to be successful is keep working patiently even when you don’t see the result right away. In short, I'm working toward making my American Dream come true.

As a person, I’ve been told that I come across as intense and serious personality, which is quite different from the truth. My sense of humor is quite goofy, crude & self-deprecating, and therefore I save it till I know the other person very well. People who know me, appreciate me for being reliable, loyal and trustworthy. I believe in God, but don’t believe in religious superstitions created by men to appease God (I’m referring to Hinduism here).

My family is very important to me, and I miss them quite often (especially my Mom). I come from a middle-class family, which lays utmost importance on education, career, stability, ethics & integrity, respect for women & elders, and most important, traditional values like getting married and starting a family. I guess, I turned out more ambitious than my Mom wanted me to be. And my mom is very upset at me because I'm behind schedule compared to my friends & cousins, that are married with kids :-)

Anyways, at this point, I’m wondering if someone has read everything I’ve written above. If yes, please let me know because I’ve a valuable treat for you. You’ve earned it :-)
