My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Well... I generally am found around the inner northern suburbs of Melbourne. I like art and music and try to absorb as much of them as possible. I am the proud parent of an incredible 4 year old girl and I work full time which keeps me fairly busy.

I grew up on a healthy diet of The Simpson's and Nirvana which probably shaped my sense of humor and started my obsession with music. I like to have adventures; small and large, which has led to some funny stories and some amazing places.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I am definitly still growing as a person and hope to do so for the rest of my life. I like finding new things and getting better at things.

I need to have some creative project, musical or artistic to keep me going and this changes often.
I am working full time and trying to start my own buisness in the hope that I will be self employed by the time my daughter is in school. Needing to provide for my daughter is my main motivating factor I guess and I strive to be successful to ensure that she has every opportunity in life.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
I make awesome vegetarian gyoza! It would be my power if I were a super hero. That and I grow a really good beard which isn't actually a skill but I still feel it warrants a mention.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
If I am sporting my fantastic beard at this meeting that would definitely be the first thing someone would notice. Should I be clean shaven then my slightly skewed sense of humor might be?
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

Okay... my favorite authors that come to mind right now are George Orwell, Gabriel Garcia Marcez, Douglas Adams, Jonathan Saffron Foer, Haruki Murakami, Anais Nin, Kurt Vonnegut, Neil Gaiman. Currently I am reading "And the mountains echoed" and "Mao's Last Dancer".

I love b-grade and Japanese / Korean horror films. As far as directors... David Lynch, Gus Van Sant, Wes Anderson.

I listen to a range of music. I've seen Sonic Youth five times and possibly my favorite gig would be The Boredoms at The Forum a few years ago. I just bought a Charles Mingus record that im pretty excited about.

I can't wait for the next Game Of Thrones series to start!

I cook a lot of Japanese-ish style food but also like Mexican or vegetarian versions there of. I really like going to eat at Yongs Green Food.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
1 My daughter
2 Loved ones
3 A musical instrument
4 Coffee
5 My records
6 My glasses or contact lenses (I am super blind)
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Random useless facts.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Hanging out with my daughter whom I have for half of the week. Saturday is my going out night so Friday is usually a movie night.. or we go for an early dinner or something.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
One time when I was about 6 I wanted to know what a Coco-Pop smelt like and accidentally inhaled one. In my naive child wisdom I assumed the Coco-Pop would inevitably lodge in my brain and surely kill me.. The funny thing is that despite my impending doom I didn't want to tell anyone because I thought I would get into trouble, so I just kind of went about my business quietly waiting to die... I'm not sure what this says about me. That I was a weird kid probably. It dose go to show though that although curiosity may have killed the cat, it spared the Coco-Pop sniffing boy.
