I try to strike a balance between my laid back personality and passion for hobbies, career, and learning. I strive for positivity, and feel that empathy is one of my biggest strengths. However, I don't let that get in the way of being a smartass.

I seek out change and new interests. My favorite quote comes from Heraclitus - "No man steps into the same river twice." We are always changing, and so is the world. I try to take that approach with new projects, habits, and ways of thinking. So "who I am" is in flux.

I currently work in Boulder as a technical writer, at a software company that provides software that helps other software companies build software (follow that?).

When not at work, I recently purchased my first home and am working to make it my own.

I love music, particularly electronic dance. It's what I listen to constantly. I use up my spare time with DJing, playing piano, and learning to produce my own songs. This love determines many of my vacation destinations each year. I've seen the sun rise over the beaches of Ibiza, experienced all that Electric Daisy Carnival and Ultra Music Festival have to offer, and am planning an epic tour around Europe this summer.

I'm not a huge outdoors person, but appreciate all that this state has to offer. I enjoy the random hike, learning to rock climb, or some other day activity. Tennis, golf, and longboarding are my sports of choice.

Learning new things: I crave new and interesting topics, and then sharing them with others. This season's project is learning to compose my own music.

Making homemade beer, sushi, grilled pineapple, and ice cream.
