I'm just a short nerd looking for new friends, and maybe more if we click. I am married to my best friend, and he's super supportive of my queerness.

I love science fiction, television, and movies! I normally just sit around watching tv and looking stuff up on the internet, but it's fun to go out sometimes too. I tend to prefer conversation to clubs though! A few close friends make me much happier than loads of people who don't really know me.

I'm passionate about gender studies and human rights. I will be going to graduate school for social work so that I can make a bigger impact. I love connecting people to the resources they need, and community is a huge resource, so my goal is to have someone pay me to do LGBT community-based programming.

I'm currently teaching adult literacy, and ESL tutoring is 1,000 times more fun than I ever thought it would be!

In general- helping people. My dream job would be doing community programming and advocacy for the LGBT community.

One time at the gym an older lady asked me if I was playing hooky. I want to get ripped so maybe people will stop thinking I'm prepubescent.

I watch a lot of television. My favorites are Torchwood, Battlestar Galactica, and anything Star Trek. Then of course there's the standard Bones, Castle, Grimm, Once Upon a Time, Haven, and Hannibal.

Pixar is amazing, and my favorites are Wall-E and Up! I also have a thing for Master and Commander and Barry Lyndon, but I would never submit anyone to those. The Lord of the Rings was awesome too.

I listen to NPR a lot, as well as the Top 40. I know, lame, but it's like the two extremes balance each other out.

I'm still figuring out how to be a vegetarian and not live on french fries alone. I love Thai food, Olive Garden and vegetarian sushi! I need to learn how to cook though.
