I suppose the most appropriate description of me at the moment would be that I'm a student, who dislikes most other students, in the full swing of studentness... Crazy I know, but that's what it's like.

To clarify, I don't really hate other student's, but from my previous job as a bartender, I find students that are out drinking to be the most annoying and unpleasant crowd ever. Of course, maybe that's just at the bar I used to work in...

Currently I'm studying Computer Science & Cybernetics at The University of Reading, about to go into my 3rd year. It's going pretty well, although I find that too often my brain completely disagrees with doing maths, which can be a bit of a bugger when you're on a very mathsy degree course!

Over the summer, I've been having fun at the university in other ways, I volunteer for the Food and Nutrition unit, where I get to eat and drink different foods while they constantly monitor my arteries and take blood. I am also the Equipment Officer for the university SCUBA club (RUBSAC... Don't laugh), key responsibilities being equipment servicing and cylinder filling... I've also scored a job with the Language Centre, and can now call myself a tech support person... WOO?

I'm quite shy unless I'm in a totally comfortable setting. I've been told I have lovely blue eyes. I do my best to be cute and a bit of a charmer... the former being how everyone sees me, the latter usually making me look like a total fool. But I don't really mind, as long as it gets a laugh or a giggle, and maybe once in a while it works.

Unfortunately I've fallen out of reading anything other than tech manuals in recent years.

If I find time, I'd very much like to read some of Isaac Asimov's books, and I do love crime fiction and survival stories. If you'd like to recommend anything, please feel free.

Favourite movies would probably be: The Fifth Element, Judge Dredd, any of the Naked Gun trilogy, Evolution, Austin Powers, and most things with Adam Sandler in them.

Favourite music would me a real mashup of everything... I can listen to The Beatles any day, but I also love say.. Eminem, Dragonforce, Scouting for Girls, Red Hot Chilli Peppers... I really could go on. Working in a club I've started to like a little more R&B and Dance, anything goes. If it has good lyrics, or a good beat, its pretty much a sure bet that I'll like it.

Favourite food would probably be pasta or fish... Spaghetti Bolognaise, Lasagne, Carbonara... Love Salmon, love love love it!

Nowadays you can find me chilling out with some mates, drinking beer, smoking, playing games and just generally unwinding. Every other week or so, you'll find me out and about in town, having a laugh and probably looking like a bit of a prat.

Even rarer, you'll now find me covering the lighting booth at my old club, too :D
