I am ADHD, GAD, and an insomniac.

My Self-Summary

I claim to be an atheist, but I'm more likely a secular humanist.

I go to school for art tech/multimedia type stuff. Photoshop, After Effects, Illustrator, Final Cut, that sort of thing.

I'm a cat person. My two cats are Dmitri and Peter.

Dmitri is a girl.

What I’m doing with my life

I’m really good at

I love semi colons; I talk stream of consciousness.

The first things people usually notice about me

I flail when I talk sometimes?

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

i wish i read books. someday i will.

i like movies that start out sad and end with horrible things happening that make you wish you were dead.

i'll try to list movies. this never goes well. I'm listing ones I watch frequently, are old favorites and/or are unforgettable because of how disturbing they are.

Brazil, Dancer in the Dark, Julien donkey Boy, Bad Blood (Mauvis Sang), Videodrome, Lawrence of Arabia, Europa Europa, Apocalypse Now, Welcome to the Dollhouse, City of God, The Consequences of Love (Le conseguenze dell'amore), La Femme Nikita, The Dreamers, Mysterious Skin, Betty Blue, Oldboy, Elephant. Airplane!, American Psycho, Mortal Kombat, Mortal Kombat: Annihilation, Meet the Feebles, Dead/Alive, Hellraiser, Hellraiser II, Cube, Dune, 8 1/2, Fat Girl, Cat Soup, Naked Lunch, Doom Generation, Eastern Promises, Pola X, Trust, Sexy Beast, The Business, Irreversible, Storytelling, Slumdog Millionaire, Se7en, Bartleby...

THE ROOM!

My two favorite diretors are David Croenberg and Leos Carax. Todd Solondz, Peter Jackson and Greg Araki aren't too far behind.

My least favorite movie EVER is David Lynch's Inland Empire. It's three hours of shit with no story line that is so pretentious and convoluted. lynch fans eat that shit up and insist they 'understand' it when Lynch has even said there is no meaning behind it.
Also, any movie with Julia Roberts. bleh.

Tommy Wiseau's "The Room" is in a category all it's own. If you have not seen it...It is paradoxically one of the worst and one of the best movies I have ever watched.

Some favorite bands:
The Smiths, The Radio Dept, Nine Inch Nails, Interpol, Bauhaus, Siouxsie and the Banshees, Stone Temple Pilots, The Magnetic Fields, Daft Punk, Röyksopp, The Knife, Junior Boys,
The Field Mice, My Favorite, The Embassy, The Tough Alliance, The Legends, etc.

food
i rarely eat meat anymore. i love cheese.

The six things I could never do without

cats. internet. october. philosophy. my brain. cheese.

I spend a lot of time thinking about

the past. mortality. and everything else.

On a typical Friday night I am

drinking.

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

I take cold showers.

i have a few more idiosyncrasies, but they are even less interesting.

You should message me if

you love the smiths.

or if you have a strong, accurate sense of intuition... and it says i'm ok.
