The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
1. Sense of Self. Knowing who I am, what I'm passionate about, and being able to come back to my core beliefs when life becomes overwhelming.
2. Animals. I am completely drawn to four-legged creatures.
3. Books. I've always been an avid reader. Books seem to pile up around me.
4. Voting. Election Day is like a holiday for me. I find it to be incredibly moving when I'm surrounded by people caring about the quality of our lives and political system.
5. Nature. I am at my best surrounded by all things green and blue.
6. Coffee. It's the best way to start the morning.
7. Cold weather. Winter is my favorite season. I love bundling up and being outside. The colder it is, the more comfortable I am.
8. Public radio. I have been an MPR member for years.
9. Alone time. I am introverted which surprises a lot of people.
10. Passion. In every form.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
What I want my future to look like & who will be sharing it with me.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Snuggled up with a book.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I hate dressing up. I feel the most comfortable in wool socks, long sleeves, and glasses.
