First off, here's a free advertisement for the powers that be- the love of my life i_am_mle found me on here, and we are exceedingly happy - so this thing really works.

I love anything to do with art (especially music and theatre), I am vegan, and I live a drug free lifestyle but I don't try to push my beliefs on anyone else and think there is something to learn from everyone's point of view. More than anything i believe in having an open mind and a proactive outlook towards everyone, regardless of their position in life/the world. I lean to the left (wayyyy to the left...neo socialist for the most part) on social/political issues. I prefer to use my bicycle more than my car and I would rather fix/reuse something old than buy new. I'm drawn to old things and fascinated by history. I like to grow organic fruits and vegetables. Currently I'm cultivating citrus indoors, and in the spring/summer I grow green peppers, sunflowers, raspberries, potatoes, watermelon, cantaloupe, asparagus, garlic, okra and collard greens.

I am a college graduate (BFA in theatre) currently pursuing a second degree (BM in music education). I'm student teaching right now, and kind of loving it. I enjoy playing music of almost any kind. Most recently I sang/played guitar in a touring indie/punk band (4 years playing together. 3 records. 4 national tours. not bad. I miss it a lot and would love to be in a touring band again). I am also a stage actor/director/designer. To supplement my income from my artistic endeavors I direct a couple childrens choirs and teach music theory/private instrumental instruction classes.
