I have a lot of stories to tell of crazy adventures I have been on.
Well, nothing too crazy I guess. Just funny and interesting stuff I
suppose. I am an open book, and there isn't much that I wont talk
about. So feel free to ask me about anything. And read below.
What I’m doing with my life
I currently work at an Allstate agency. We'll see where life takes
I’m really good at
I love playing as many different sports as I can. Ultimate
(frisbee) is probably my top sport. I played on the MSU team last
year, and it is the sport I am best at. I am also a huge fan of
golfing, however the monetary requirement is usually enough to keep
me from playing as much as I would like. I have also played in a
couple charity football games. I ran cross country back in high
school, so I guess you could say I am good at running. I have lost
a lot of speed and endurance over the years, but recently I have
started running more frequently. I used to drum a lot in high
school, I played in all the bands we had in my school (symphony,
jazz, marching, pep, and a few side ensembles.) I also have a lot
of other random little talents that I really don't feel are
necessary to list off here. So ask if you are curious.
The first things people usually notice about me
I guess I would say blue eyes. And probably the fact that I am more
reserved than most people my age. I don't like being the center of
attention, but I will speak up when I need to be heard.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I liked the Harry Potter novels and movies. The Lord of the Rings
movies, and the books are next on my list. I am currently reading
the last Harry Potter book again, as well as The Da Vinci Code. I
liked the Da Vinci Code the first time I read it, as well as Angels
and Demons. And I plan on reading both again. I enjoy a lot of the
terribly nerdy shows on the science channel more often than not.
But I will always love to chill and watch cartoons on the weekends.
I am a big country fan, but I also like pretty much everything
else. Except Lil Wayne and other garbage like that. As far as food
goes, I eat way too much of it. I have been cutting back on the
amount of fast food I eat lately and have been trying, in general,
to eat better.
The six things I could never do without
1. My puppy!
2. My computer.
3. My friends. I don't have a lot, but the ones I do have are the
4. My sister. I would include her in the 'my friends' category as
well, but I felt she needed her own. She is, and always will be, my
5. My spontaneity. I love doing random things that just so happen
to peak my interest.
6. My technology. I am surrounded by it more than most people are.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
a lot of different things. I once devised a way to square two
numbers simply, obviously without just multiplying it by itself. It
was during high school when I had a lot of time to think during my
cross country practices. There was no point to it, because
generally it took longer than just multiplying the two, but I still
enjoyed the challenge of creating my own formula. I also took the
time to draw up, from scratch, plans for a pendulum clock. If that
is any indication to the variety of topics I contemplate.
On a typical Friday night I am
Recovering from a long week honestly. I have about an hour and a
half round trip to work every day of the week. On top of working 9
hours a day, my weekdays are pretty much consumed, so it is nice to
be able to sit a chill out without having to worry about going to
work the next day.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I lost my father when I was 6 to a combination of lung and liver
cancer. This is the main reason that I refuse to smoke, and have
never had much of a liking for alcohol. I wont say I never drink,
but if I do its just a beer or two if I am out with some friends. I
am really not to concerned with private things, this was just the
only thing that came to mind. So feel free to ask about anything.
