I believe that all you can ever wish for another person is happiness. Do what ever makes you happy. If you are bone broke and doing something you love, good for you.

My pursuit of happiness includes cooking for a living. I love it. The high paced craziness, combined with edible science is just way too awesome.

I have moved around a lot in the past 10 years or so. Traveling around the country has really been great. I have met so many awesome people along the way. I like to think I have taken a little bit from each one and made myself who I am.

Trying to learn as much as I can about food. I would like to run my own restaurant one day. So you know... KNOWLEDGE IS POWER!

I like to think I make some mean mexican food. Either that or my wonderful abuse of sarcasm.

Movies: I love quirky fun movies. Some of my favorites are, The Life Aquatic, The Science of Sleep, and Bunny and the Bull.

Shows: I am a netflix/hulu+ junkie. I am currently keeping current on Doctor Who, Supernatural, Skins(UK), How I met your mother, Misfits, and Workaholics. Sadly some of my favorites will never get more episodes. Firefly was amazing. Twin peaks was awesome 90s weirdness. Torchwood was just.....torchwood. You would think that I would watch cooking shows, but I can't get into them for the most part. The exception being Alton Brown.

Music: Modest Mouse, The Strokes, LCD Soundsystem, The Black Keys, Coconut Records, Empire of the Sun, Justice, The Kooks, MGMT, Passion Pit, Phoenix, At the drive in, and Vampire Weekend.

Food: I love it all.

Smart Phone- I am hooked on the instant access to everything.
Internet access- This day and age, who doesn't?
Change- Things always being the same eventually drive me batty.
Conversation- It is so nice to talk to like minded people.
Music- Seriously life without music isn't life.
Peppers......

Interesting twists on recipes. Or how much I wish I could go see a band I like. Or maybe how great it would be to go to New York for a few weeks. You know, typical stuff.
