My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Hi, I'm a nice, fun, and energetic guy in Washington who loves to try and do new things. I have a pretty sick sense of humor and I love to laugh. I work pretty hard, but also love to play, take vacations, see the world and experience as much as life has to offer. At other times, however I am perfectly comfortable at home making dinner, reading a book, or watching a movie.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I'm working in progressive political online technology. I'm loving my work right now, but I also have a very good work/life balance. You will rarely hear me complain "I'm so busy! I have no time to do anything!" I make time. I do a fair amount of active work in the LGBT movement but I'm not a crazy person about it. At this point I'm just really interested in enjoying the work I do and trying to leave the world just a little bit better place than when I came into it.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
I used to play poker pretty seriously, but only do it for fun now as being a professional poker player is a terrible lifestyle. I love to ski play tennis I'm a very good driver, and love to drive and do road trips.

That I don't always take the easiest way to get to point A to point B. I would much rather walk through this wonderful city than take a cab. I have only owned one automatic transmission car in my life and I hated it. I also love to make people laugh, and when I meet that person who gets my sense of humor, I really go for it.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

I love biographies, most recently read the Steve Jobs biography, but I also am a pop culture follower, so I just finished the Hunger Games trilogy and now I'm reading Fifty Shades of Gray. I love going to movies and my taste for movies is pretty wide and varied. I enjoy a certain amount of television, but I don't have cable by choice. I like a lot of types of music and listen to music often. Be careful about taking me to a broadway show I could get obsessed with it and you will regret it every time you hear me singing in the shower. I love to cook and I'm getting more adventurous than just following recipes.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
So one of my favorite quotes comes from one of my favorite lesbians Suze Orman... she says "People First, Then Money, Then Things" so I don't place too high a value on "things". But here are a few of my favorite things... stick shifts on fast cars, and drives through the mountains... iPhones and iPads with apps and good music, good dinner parties with friends all around...these are a few of my favorite things.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
I constantly have a song running through my head. It will be totally random and will be stuck there anywhere between an hour and my record of 3 weeks. It was a terrible song too.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
If It's summer I'm usually already at the beach as I leave on Thursday nights and work from the beach. My housemates love it because dinner is usually ready for them when they arrive on Friday! I do love hanging out at home, dinner parties and going out for happy hour for a drink or two. If its winter I'm either driving to a closeby mountain or heading to BWI to catch a flight to Salt Lake City to ski at Park City, though that only occurs once a year.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit

I've seen Madonna twice. The time between the two concerts was 22 years. And that was TOO long. Also, I have an underwear obsession - so bad that I wouldn't have to do laundry for 4 months or so if it ever came to that.
