So, about me.... I don't even know where to start. I'm a mom - have two kids that don't need me as much anymore. So for the past 20 years I have been tending to the needs of others, now it's time for me. Time to enjoy me, and hopefully find someone to share the me time.

In my spare time I like sporting events.... GO GOPHERS! I also like walks in the park, I like a nice meal at a fine restaurant, I like watching the stars, I like snuggling on the sofa with a movie, I like enjoying the company of loved ones. I like traveling, I like getting out of the house, but I'm also comfy staying at home and enjoying you. I like to laugh, I like to smile, I like to make others laugh. I'm silly at times, stubborn at other times, usually I'm very laid back.

I'm looking for someone that wants to share with me, take part in life with me, enjoy new experiences and go exploring with me. Someone that likes to be out and about but also likes to cuddle at home. I enjoy touching, and holding hands, and am very affectionate (kind of like a puppy) and need someone that enjoys that also. I like spontaneity - let's just get in the car and go, unplanned, no maps... just a bag that's packed (not spontaneous, but I like to be clean!).

I am looking for someone that wants to share life, and grow old together (not that I'm growing old... you may be, but I'm not!). Are you available?

What I'm doing with my life? Besides raising and being a role model for the two greatest daughters? Saving the world, of course!

Since my girls turned out well I think that means I'm very good at being a mom. I'm also good at making people smile, and telling wicked little one-liners that will catch you off guard. My cooking needs work (I can, however, follow a recipe) and I have a few signature dishes (homemade chicken enchiladas, guacamole, chili to name a few) but I excel at the clean up. I'm very good at rescuing my girls from spiders - nothing a thick book or a shoe can't handle!

My hair... yes it is red naturally, yes it is curly naturally. People also notice my mouth - pouty lips, straight teeth, big smile.

I don't have favorite books - I do have favorite authors. Once I find one I like I usually read everything they've written. Lately I'm reading Iris Johansen.

I love James Bond - saw Skyfall last weekend and would pay to see it again!

Music? What isn't on my iPod! Favorite is Coldplay and I believe they put on the best live show I've ever seen. Others are Adele, Blake Shelton, Damien Rice, Daughtry, Flo Rida, Good Charlotte, Jonny Lang, The Killers, Luke Bryan, Maroon 5, Mumford & Sons, Natalie Merchant, No Doubt, Pink, Usher, and everyone in between. Love live music at a local hotspot.

Do I really have to limit the list to six things?

1) my kids, my pride and joy;
2) my dog, my family, and my friends;
3) my cell phone and my iPod;
4) chapstick (Hey! It's winter in MN and I love kissing);
5) sunshine;
6) an occassional lazy weekend morning in a big, comfy sweatshirt.

Ways to get off the night shift.... one would think that after 8 years with the same company it would be easy. Maybe time to look elsewhere! And I quite often ponder the meaning of life, how many licks is does take to get to the center of a Tootsie Pop, which came first - the chicken or the egg, why do people that have had chest pain for 2 weeks straight come in to the ER in the middle of the night on Sunday night (really I know the answer to this one!), does anyone actually read these answers, etc.....

I am usually at home, except for the occassional date or kid function. I'm on the run every day of the week and Friday's are usually rest/relax/recharge nights. Rent a movie, order some take-out, games and catch up with the kids. Once every six weeks I have an overnight shift at the hospital, but other than that - Friday's are lowkey.
