So, I just re-opened my account after going idle for quite a while.
I need to fix up all the old text at some point...but have not yet.
Just wanted to add a message here of what I am looking for. I'm
really looking for someone to have fun dating. (I know sounds
obvious) But, what I really mean is that I'd just like to get out
and have some dinners out, movies out, that kind of thing. If
things become more serious than that that's cool, but I'm not in
any rush to push things.

I'm really pretty laid back. I'm a social person that will just wonder up and start talking to people at a party if I don't know anyone instead of being a wall flower. That being said I am not all that forward with women and not really much of a flirter. Not that I am not interested just I've never really learned that skill. I'm even tempered, good in a crisis, and I think very funny (not everyone else agrees with that last one)
I like to try new things but will often soon see something shiny and get very interested in something else. I was doing fencing recently, have taken other forms of martial arts and would like to try more, used to ski, used to SCUBA dive. Poking around this site seems to be what has my interest right now.
I like to visit new places. I've been to Australia, New Zealand, India, Istanbul (Not Constantinolpe), backpacked around Europe, and want to get out and see more.
I have SCUBA dived the great barrier reef, went to Oktoberfest in Munich when I was 19, ridden the entire Orient Express twice, been in the head of the Statue of Liberty, been most of the way up the Eiffel Tower, taken a helicopter to the top of a mountain and skied down, shaken hands with Eric Idle, and ridden an elephant through the jungles of India looking for tigers.
I am doing the couch to 5K thing now and hope to add completed the Columbus marathon to that list in a couple years...
My spelling and grammar are bad, but I tend to be attracted to women who care about spelling and grammar. I have no artistic talent but tend to like women who do. I really really can't dance and would be most happy not having to prove it.
I love games of all kinds, especially board games and would much prefer to sit around a table with some friends having a good conversation and playing a game than going to a bar and getting drunk.
