I'm straightforward, but non confrontational. I love to learn, especially when someone takes the time and energy to explain something.

What I’m doing with my life

I get paid to work on video games and I dig my job - a lot. I moved here for work and though I've been here a couple years I still feel new to the area. I guess I'm taking it slow with my attempt to look outside and see what is out there.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

I don't really have lists of favorite things memorized and ready to go. a few movies I've seen and enjoyed, in no particular order are : Children of Men, The Road Warrior, 3:10 to Yuma, Hot Fuzz, Back to the Future, The Princess Bride, Stage Beauty

Books : I enjoy historical fiction and also real history but I have trouble finding it presented in a way I can easily digest. I am addicted to romance novels, but they are too misunderstood for me to even begin a defense for them here.

Music : lots of 80's and classic rock, more recently Queens of the Stone Age, Portishead, NIN, Radiohead, Interpol, Grandaddy, Elephant, Underworld among others

Food : I like to stick with the basics. I'm mostly vegetarian but like to make it up as I go along. I seem to have sensitive taste buds so I prefer to eat pretty plainly.

The six things I could never do without

I could live without a lot, but I'd rather not go without books, my job, music, drawing supplies, good movies, good friends
