Happy to tell you my story over a coffee or cocktail. I have nothing to hide and believe in open, honest communication as the foundation for healthy relationships. I'm in a 10-year open relationship with a woman I love and live with, and would call myself "polyamorous". Not something I would have predicted when I was 30, but it has really worked for me in unexpected ways. Once you have a loving and positive polyamorous experience, you are pretty much ruined for life on "strict monogamy." It's that powerful.
I am interested in meeting new people with the intent of going out for food or drinks, outdoor activities, intelligent conversation, laughing and enjoying life! Happy hour anyone? Just friends is just fine if that's what works... I'm looking to make new friends in general and see where it goes with a few, with a goal of finding one person to explore an open relationship with. Something beyond FWB that we would define together. That may take a while. I'm OK with that.
Less lately: trail running, martial arts, backpacking, camping, music festivals, motorcycle touring, boating, wakeboarding, water skiing, mountain biking, rock climbing.
Work: technical management consultant around corporate environmental and sustainability functions - this involves a lot of travel, which I also enjoy; especially if it's international.
I have also worked as a bartender on and off over the years - most notably at the Scarlet Ranch when it was downtown.
I love to cook and go to foodie restaurants, have a huge inventory of favorite movies and bands, and like to go see live music when I can. Summer nights at Red Rocks are one of the greatest benefits of living here.
Whole foods I can cook and enjoy eating
A beautiful world to love and live on
People to watch and romanticize about
A personality that thinks it is unique to struggle with and learn from in my journey back to oneness
