I would, however, like to get out more often--in good company, of course. (Unfortunately, though, good company seems very difficult to find in this seemingly boring, trashy, crime-ridden, drug-infested place crawling with parasitic losers.)

Shortly after moving in, one of my best friends came to visit. Later that night, we stood outside of my house half-naked (it was a warm summer night), gazing at the moon, stars and planets in the sky. I saw at least 5 shooting stars within about 10-15 minutes; my friend missed all of them, as they occurred while the telescope was being setup or repositioned. That, for me, was a remarkable experience.
