My self-summary
Patient* and tenacious are probably the two words that sum me up the best.

I enjoy music very much, and I am making it a point to get out to more live shows. Sometimes I think about returning to the piano, but it has been a very, very long time. So long, in fact, that I don't even remember if I was any good.

I have played Dungeons & Dragons, and I would play it again. The only thing keeping me from it is scheduling difficulty with friends. I also enjoy video games and cartoons.

In my adult life, I have developed a love of nature and being outside. The peacefulness of a park or hiking trail is a wonderful thing.

Travel is something that is on my to-do list, as I am currently not very worldly. Specifically, I would love to see many of the ruins and ghost towns the world has to offer.

I wanted to be Indiana Jones until I realized that I don't look good in hats.

*unless you're a bad driver. I don't get road rage, but look, if you slow down traffic because you don't switch lanes to be able to get into the turn lane until the very last minute, even though you know (and we know you know) that you'll need to be over... well, stop driving. Take the bus.
What I’m doing with my life
I work a full-time job at Home Depot and I attend school (via the internet because retail schedules are lame) full-time with a focus on English, while taking a few criminal justice courses just because. I'm putting some serious thought into trying to become a police officer.
I’m really good at
Stuff. I'm sure I have plenty of untapped talents. At least, I hope so. I'm a quick study—I'm really good at learning.

...and video games.
The first things people usually notice about me
Who knows? When you meet me, you can tell me.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books: I have a lot of reading to get caught up on, but I greatly enjoy science fiction. At the moment I'm reading Snow Crash by Neal Stephenson, and afterwards Vonnegut's Galápagos.

If you have never read the book Eat Them Alive by Pierce Nace then I highly recommend you do so. It's a treat.

Movies: Cheesy 80's movies, horror movies, smart comedies (although ridiculous comedies can be nice to veg out in front of sometimes), sci-fi, kung-fu, and action movies that have a plot beyond just the crazy action.

Shows: I watch the Daily Show and Colbert Report when I catch them, and sometimes I flip to Cartoon Network. Discovery and The Food Network are cool, too.

Music: Oh, geez, there are many things. Current most played artists: The Tallest Man on Earth, Andrew Bird, Gregory Alan Isakov, Okkervil River, Portugal. The Man, Dr. Octagon, Deltron 3030, and Ramona Falls.

Food: All of it.
The six things I could never do without
I can't answer this. I've never been without something that I could not do without.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Why they keep re-hashing the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. They should just re-air the original series.
On a typical Friday night I am
Who knows? Maybe working, maybe dancing, or maybe getting multiple cases of Capri Sun, childish snacks, and horror movies from Redbox and watching them with my friend.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
Sometimes, before work, I watch Pokemon and eat sugary kid cereals.

"I eat my sugar cereal, but it makes my teeth bacterial."
I’m looking for
  • Everybody
  • Ages 18–30
  • Near me
  • For new friends
You should message me if
If you'd like to, or if you would like to take swing dance classes with me, or do all of "The List" of things to do for a perfect Saturday!

If you're like me sometimes you want to send a message but don't always know what to say Internet messaging is way more awkward than approaching someone in person because on here you can read what you're saying before you say it! So, here's a possible ice breaker:

If there was no fear of facing jail time or punishment, even if you were caught, what is the one thing that you would do?
