I have a three step system in which I work this site after writing many a novella to women only to receive no response. So I will now break them down for you so I am not to waste your time or mine.

Step 1: I will read your profile (yes read, not just look at photos.) If I think we are a good fit I will rate you 4/5 stars. Enough to send an email to you saying "this lovely awesome gentleman thinks you are cool."

Step 2: You hopefully read through my profile (don't just look at the photos ladies, I am more than just a piece of meat.) and you rate me back.

Step 3: If we match, and we get one of those "you guys match, hazzah!" messages I will write you a well thought-out ice breaking letter. In such letter there will be no mention of your looks, how badly I may want to sleep with you, or anything creepy/weird.

So if you are not looking to meet outside these virtual walls probably don't rate me back, or rate me real low, don't worry my self-esteem can take it. Honesty is the best approach.

Now that the hard part is over let us begin.

Why hello there, thank you for taking the time to swing by my profile. I will try to keep this short, brief, and hopefully fun.

Let us begin with the whole open relationship thing. Yes, I am in one. No, this isn't one of those threesome postings. No, you don't have to meet her. Yes, it can be confusing. Finally, yes, I will answer any questions you may have on the topic. I am very much an open book.

I have an incredible job at a video game company. They work me Monday through Friday. I get to work with some seriously awesome folks, and one of rules at the office is "only one visible bottle of booze on your desk at a time." They gave us a neat little filing cabinet for the rest of our booze. Very thoughtful.

I am one of those Crossfitters you may have heard about, but I like to think I am not one of those ones who basically do the exact opposite of Fight Club; Rule 1, only talk about Crossfit. Nope, just something I like to do to stay in shape. I am also currently training for a marathon. That said I am going to let you in on a secret, running sucks.

I am also a cyclist. But I stop at red lights, look both ways, and don't dart in front of cars and than get upset when they honk. No I am a R E S P O N S I B L E cyclist. Wear a helmet and everything.

Adventure is pretty much my calling, and I am very interested in always trying new and exciting things. My previous adventures has had me jumping out of airplanes, waterfalls, throwing elaborate themed parties in the name of charity. Sometimes just meeting new awesome people and having a drink is a grand ole time as well.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Right now my health has been a key thing that I am focusing on. Lots of exercise, and dieting. That said I still find time to enjoy the occasional beer. In fact right now I am trying to drink every pumpkin beer before this lovely season escapes us.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Martial arts, my quippy dry humor, pulling out nerd references out of nowhere. I seem to be good at pull-ups, no idea when that happened. Also handstand push-ups, but I believe that is because of my short little T-Rex arms. Writing also catches my fancy quite a bit.
The first things people usually notice about me

Update: My long hair is gone. Now I have no clue what people see first. I just don't know.

I imagine my fairly long, currently shaggy hair, I grow it out every couple of years and donate it to Locks of Love. Cancer has been a big part of my life so I do what I can to help. It is getting close to chopping time very soon though. Going to feel so naked without it.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
I read a lot of non-fiction books, I really enjoy learning new things. Just about all my fiction comes from graphic novels and comic books. Some personal favorites are; Sandman, Y: The Last Man, Just about anything X-Men, Chew, Sweet Tooth, The Goon, most Batman stories.

TV Shows:
I watch a lot more TV than I do movies, it is hard for me to sit down and watch something for two hours, so TV usually has me covered there. Some favorites include; Buffy, Firefly, Arrested Development, Venture Brothers, Cowboy Bebop, Avatar the Last Airbender, The Legend of Korra, Sherlock, Any of the Bruce Timm superhero stuff, Shameless, Californication, Archer, It’s Always Sunny, The League, Metalocylpse, Regular Show, IT Crowd, most Miyazaki films, and various others.

I like to think I have a broad taste in music, but I can’t say I really enjoy a lot of hip hop, country, or dubstep. I find myself listening to a lot of stuff that people have classified into the “gothic industrial” scene. Music like Ladytron, Neurotic Fish, Depeche Mode, Zeromancer, She Wants Revenge, and E Nomine. However I still really enjoy a lot of other stuff too, I find myself really being drawn to strong female vocalist. Right now I have been listening to a lot of Metric, and Shiny Toy Guns for example.

Who doesn’t love food? I love to cook, and when I have the time bake. The only thing I have hard time with is seafood. I don’t mind going out for sushi on occasion.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
I backpacked through Europe and it taught me that I don't need quite as much as I thought I did. My items owned me, they owned me good.

1. Friends.
2. Food and Water
3. Company
4. Sugar, I am a sugar addict.
5. A good idea
6. My sense of humor
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
The same thing we do every night Pinky…
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
I don't have adventures, I have misadventures, really awesome misadventures. Sometimes it is getting on a bus full of zombies, sometimes it is dressing up as a superhero and going drinking, or hosting a Lego egg drop competition. I guess what I am saying is no Friday is like any other. Recently it has become an adventure for the best pumpkin beer.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
